Hasanpfeffer is rabbit stew.  In New Hampshire we have something different.  It is called ‘Hassanpfeffer.’  It is made with a New Hampshire Democrat, “Turkey,” and hypocrisy.

Governor Maggie Hassan, your typical light-weight, two-faced tax and spend liberal, has discovered that contrary to Democrat party talking points the economy is not that hot.  In response to revenue issues, some of which–admittedly–were a long time coming, she’s announced a spending freeze for all of the Granite State that includes out-of-state travel paid for from the general fund.   A freeze that does not apply to Maggie Hassan.

The governor has booked a ‘Trade Mission” to the Hassan Homeland that will cost the taxpayers about  $15,000.00 dollars.  Citizens for a Strong NH has issued a Right to Know Request regarding the expenses related to the trip, and considering the Governor’s own executive order moratorium on such spending that seems appropriate, but I have another question.

How can a cultural talking-points, Progressive narrative slave like Maggie Hassan validate a regime that consistently denies rights to women and the LGBT community, and where is the outrage from local advocacy groups for same (who have a prominent presence in our state) in opposition to her trip?

Reagan Democrat….Obama Republican (see after the jump)?

Well, at least he didn’t like about his name (only that he was off it before he was on it – the Scott Brown Campaign staff, that is)!  That would be Jeremy as in Jeremy Baker.  Turns out that commenter Radical Moderate found this wascally wabbit over on WMUR – hiding in plain site as it were.  James Pindell interviewed him back in December because he had created a Draft Scott Brown for US Senate in NH 2014.  I guess that we “could” forgive this recent UNH grad for believing:

“I think Scott Brown would be a great candidate….wanted to start my own little movement and made this blog page”.

Involvement in the College Republicans is fine, but I would have thought he would have delved deeper into Brown’s record before proclaiming on state-wide TV:

“I think he’s a great candidate, he’s done a lot of great stuff in the Senate already.  Umm, I think he’s willing to work with the other aisle, he’s very bipartisan and that something that young people like me especially admire because with all the gridlock that’s been happening.”

Bipartisan, eh?

Last night, the Gun Owners of NH (“GONH”) had a meeting at the Holiday Inn in Concord, NH with their keynote speaker being former US Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) who is trying to become the next US Senator from NH.  Their rule, as been pointed out here and here, was that Scott Brown had insisted they they not allow:

• Cameras or other recording devices
• Media / reporters

We went down anyways (for nothing says New Media on the conservative side like GraniteGrok) with camera(s) in hand to see what was to be seen, get some interviews, and generally make an annoyance of our ourselves.  Last night, I am happy to report, we achieved all of those goals!  However, one of the things that most disturbs and annoys US are politicians and their coterie of campaign staffs that act contrary to their own request of others

AND LIE DOING IT!  ON TAPE!

Yup, that’s what they did.  WE can’t video them – but they can video others with impunity?  Er, no, not when we have our own camera ready!

Since the last week in February I have had the pleasure of working with Concerned Veterans for America, making calls to NH vets regarding mismanagement at the Veterans Administration – specifically targeting poor performing administrators.  Well, I guess that issue has hit the front pages in the last few days.  Good thing it finally did, so President Obama could be made aware of the problem – so says his spokesman.

In any case, lots of people talk about politics and some people do things within their capabilities.  This issue would be one of those opportunities for an average person to make a difference.  If you want to help, all you have to is contact the CVA.  (Come on! I’m making it easy on ya.)

While doing the regular Wednesday 6:40 am WLMW 90.7 segment on voter fraud there was an on air news flash.

I mentioned 2012 ballot box stuffer and NY resident, Katrina Lipinsky, as being caught voting in Merrimack by some Republicans who were on the lookout for such things. Having just done a voter fraud workshop last Saturday in Merrimack , that, along with Lipinsky were this week’s topc.

I showed how to comb through LinkedIn to find Lipinsky’s “network” of LinkedIn activists from the Obama Organizing for America 2012 campaign and how close they are to Shaheen, Kuster, and The Nashua Telegraph.

The big news in Dark Money this week are some documents left behind in a public area after Democracy Alliance (DA) held a super-secret meeting to discuss the buckets of cash they get from left-wing millionaires and billionaires and to which far left organizations they support. It lists their network, who they support, what those groups do (every one of them promotes progressive candidates or progressive issues), and there was even a list of donor names.  I have the whole list.  It is proving to be very useful.

But to my point.  One of the organizations prominently on display in these documents is ProgressNow.  They are part of DA’s aligned Network and the plan is to funnel 1.6 to 1.9 Million dollars to them in 2014.

ProgressNow is important because they planted one of their out-of-state funded franchises in New Hampshire a few years back.  That progressive bivouac goes by the name of GraniteState Progress (GSP).

Liberals like to use government to force their worldview on others, from as high up and as far away as they can, preferably with layers of bureaucracy between you–the more people to finger for their own failure the better.  So when Michelle Obama spun her domestic web of progressive meddling across the public school lunch landscape she ‘learned them’ something important about top down, one-size-fits-all central planning.  She also planted a seed; there are benefits to federalism versus top down federal mandates.  No matter whom you blame the latter on, central planning never works as promised.

Progressives blame kid-hating Republicans and greedy businesses for the revolt against Mrs. Obama’s failed policies. But the truth is right around the corner in our students’ cafeterias. Districts are losing money. Discarded food is piling high. Kids are going off-campus to fill their tummies or just going hungry.
