What if the GOP fails to win NH & NC and loses Kansas and still manages to get the net +6 seats to win the senate and increases their lead in the house?
If this happens what will happen to any perception of Tea Party / Libertarian power and how will a victorious GOP treat our causes?

White House Obama exempts Syria airstrikes from tight standards on civilian deaths.
The White House has acknowledged for the first time that strict standards President Obama imposed last year to prevent civilian deaths from U.S. drone strikes will not apply to U.S. military operations in Syria and Iraq.
More and more, I am seeing posts at the national level on a topic that I have been writing and talking about for months now: Trust. The lack thereof. From the grassroots to the Republican Establishment there is little Trust (or as I told someone tonite (so many calls tonite, very little blogging!) that having zero Trust would be a large step up right now). Each of these posts by others is now echoing that sentiment even as the Establishment (nationally and certainly here in NH!) is tearing their collective hair out – “WHY aren’t they falling into line like they always have??? Why are we being told “nope, no interested in voting“? And that is their large problem – but we have told them why (certainly *I* have and I know that I am not alone).
They simply are not listening. But their words are heard and their action speak even louder – it’s deafening. They have made themselves clear – and they don’t get that WE have been listening closely and watching even more intently. They have brought us upon themselves. Anyways, I have a few of these bookmarked and will share them over the next few days. This is from IBD Editorials (reformatted, emphasis mine):
Republicans, in an orgy of expectations, believe the key to taking the Senate was getting “electable” candidates nominated. And get them nominated they did. The Establishment got their candidates. Now they’re looking at a potentially disastrous election where their chosen ones dramatically underperform all reasonable expectations, the result of attacking their own party’s base to cement primary victories.

“I am worried about it for the first time in a long time,” said Rob Jesmer, who ran the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 2012 and 2010 and continues to work on behalf of Senate campaigns now. “I think in some of these places, it could be the determining factor.”
The party, Jesmer says, still has a good chance of taking the Senate from Democrats. “But if we don’t, the story is going to be that outside money saved these guys.”
Yeah, that will be your story, JIsmer. Of course you won’t mention the scorched earth war, and the oceans of money, you and your organization spent to “crush” the Tea Party, whose donors are taking their wallets and going home.

I am a bit disappointing in the lack of interest this story attracted* given all the jokes at our disposal. I’m referring to the news of Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s off-shore investment in the fourth largest oil company in the world, S.A. Total ( Chevron, Inpex–a Japanese firm–and Weather-ford International.) After the initial burst of news and press releases I’ve seen nothing. How do you not keep bring this up over and over again all the way to November?
It is a story that writes its own press releases almost endlessly, complete with the mounds of hypocrisy that should go with it.
1) S.A. Total and Chevron are two of the largest oil companies on the planet. Talk about big oil!
2) Shaheen is no stranger to bashing ties to big oil and yet she is invested in Big oil.
3) Tom Steyer and his green machine are spending a fortune on ads (internet, TV, etc) talking about Big Oil and Scott Brown while his opponent is, well you get the idea.
4) Offshoring investment capital is another left-wing, anti-capitalist axe to grind but when one-percenter Jeanne Shaheen invests in Big Oil, she invests offshore, Hello!

You can claim almost anything to cast a vote in New Hampshire, a vote that could result in the expense of millions, tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions of dollars annually. One vote could be all it takes.
All you need to exercise that fiscal power in the Granite State is to show up on election day, and claim that you intend to “live” in New Hampshire, at least until you’ve voted. After that you are under no obligation to pay the price of that vote. You can depart the state immediately leaving actual residents to pay the price of your actual intent; to steal a vote.
But if you want to transfer the title of a motor-vehicle in the town of Henniker, New Hampshire, you are required to provide actual proof of residency. And a drivers license is not sufficient. The clerk made it clear to our reader that the transaction could not possibly be sanctioned with just a drivers license as proof or identity and residence.
Aggressors around the world have been emboldened. Some aggressors are nations, others are terrorist groups like al Queda and ISIS or criminal groups such as the Mexican drug cartels. Some aggressors claim their neighbors’ lands, others just take them, some aggressors kill fellow citizens who aren’t the right something (e.g., religion, tribe, ethnic group, gang), while others are reaching out and killing people in other countries. Aggressors, e.g., North Korea, China, Russia, Iran, and in the Middle East, Africa, South and Central America, are acting, demanding or taking what they want, increasing their power, and controlling or killing increasing numbers of innocent people.
Yet, this wasn’t supposed to happen.
Less than six years ago the Progressives of the World awarded President Obama the Nobel Peace Prize not for anything he did but just because they “knew” that his Progressive policies would bring peace and justice to the world.
