You can claim almost anything to cast a vote in New Hampshire, a vote that could result in the expense of millions, tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions of dollars annually.  One vote could be all it takes.

All you need to exercise that fiscal power in the Granite State is to show up on election day, and claim that you intend to “live” in New Hampshire, at least until you’ve voted.  After that you are under no obligation to pay the price of that vote.  You can depart the state immediately leaving actual residents to pay the price of your actual intent; to steal a vote.

But if you want to transfer the title of a motor-vehicle in the town of Henniker, New Hampshire, you are required to provide actual proof of residency.  And a drivers license is not sufficient.  The clerk made it clear to our reader that the transaction could not possibly be sanctioned with just a drivers license as proof or identity and residence.

Aggressors around the world have been emboldened.  Some aggressors are nations, others are terrorist groups like al Queda and ISIS or criminal groups such as the Mexican drug cartels.  Some aggressors claim their neighbors’ lands, others just take them, some aggressors kill fellow citizens who aren’t the right something (e.g., religion, tribe, ethnic group, gang), while others are reaching out and killing people in other countries.  Aggressors, e.g., North Korea, China, Russia, Iran, and in the Middle East, Africa, South and Central America, are acting, demanding or taking what they want, increasing their power, and controlling or killing increasing numbers of innocent people.

Yet, this wasn’t supposed to happen.

Less than six years ago the Progressives of the World awarded President Obama the Nobel Peace Prize not for anything he did but just because they “knew” that his Progressive policies would bring peace and justice to the world.

Need proof that you can’t just vote anywhere you feel like it?  There’s a US Supreme Court Case that Indiana won to prevent non-residents from stealing votes, but if you’d like something more recent, we’ve got this – much closer to home.

(Christina “Tita”) Ayala allegedly voted in various Bridgeport (CT) Democratic Town Committee elections, a municipal primary election and a state primary election between 2009 and 2012 in districts inconsistent with the location of her residence, according to the release. She is also accused of voting in the Bridgeport state general election in 2012 in a district where she didn’t live.

Where she didn’t live?  I wonder how they figured out where she did live?   Drivers license? An address on a paycheck?  The address at the bank where she puts that check?   The address on her tax returns?  That place they send the letter to call her jury duty?

“Right-to-work, or forbidding unions from charging non-members agency fees for negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements, will also be back next session.  During the 2011-2012 term, lawmakers battled over the issue – which was promoted by House Speaker Bill O’Brien – more than two times before the Senate called a halt to the maneuvering by simply refusing to take it up any more.”

Frankly, if we ARE the Land of the Free and we do cherish the Constitution (First Amendment, Right to Free Association), I have no problem with people voluntarily banding together for whatever reason.  What I do protest is the FORCING of association simply because one wishes to make a living and provide for their families.  It should not be that to sit in a particular chair or at a designated bench or doing some set of tasks that your future is determined by union bosses that, often, are more interested in just power and changing everyone else’s lives (e.g., look at the list of political issues that the NEA or AFT involved themselves in that have NOTHING to do with teaching).

Twinkies disappeared for a while as the bakery (et al) unions overplayed their hands in a power struggle as in who gets to effectively run a company – the company’s owners / managers or the unions (note I didn’t say workers).  The unions wanted control and they wanted more money.  However, in the public marketplace, the consumer makes the final rule and when the profits could not sustain the greedy unions, the company went under (and afterwards, a box of twinkies went for big bucks on eBay).  And now, are we seeing the same thing by the Post Office unions?

The U.S. Postal Service must hire 9,000 employees over the next three months to staff regional part-time post offices as part of a settlement it negotiated with the American Postal Workers Union. The new postal employees will be working at offices that are open for four to six hours a day.

I get inundated with eblasts from all kinds of groups including the NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee – to elect Republicans to the US House) and most of them are trying to pry money out of my wallet (like running GraniteGrok is cost-free?).  But this line takes the cake:

• President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid are spending MILLIONS to smear conservatives in the 50 most critical races across the nation.

Bolding of conservatives is by me.  Heck, it hasn’t just been by the Dems, dudes, national level Republicans have acted in the exact same manner.  So did the Establishment Republicans here in NH; we’ve seen that deal before.  The most extreme example, once again, was done by NH State Senator Chuck Morse and NH State Senator Jeb Bradley in steering a ton of money to prop up two of their Insider Senate Circle that scarcely could be considered to be conservative: NH State Senator David “I was too drunk to know” Boutin and NH State Senator Nancy “There was no Supreme Court ruling to make Medicaid Expansion optional!” Stiles.  Tons of money for these two hacks in attacking their truly Conservative opponents whose only “political sin” was to actually take the NH GOP Platform seriously (as opposed to the propped up incumbents).
