So when Chris Matthews says that Bernie best represents the Dems…

…he should know.  And if he knows, and is willing to let on, how much further Left has the Dems NOT been willing to admit to?

Remember, before becoming a “journalist” (ok, talking head), he was a long term Democrat Party operative.  And here he is, telling everyone how far Left the Democrat Party has gone.

Pretty much, I think the question is not what is the difference is between the Democrats and Socialists, but would there be much difference between their future for the United States and what is happening in the self-proclaimed Socialist State of Venezuela (hope you stashed some T.P. away) or Cuba.

First DWS can’t tell the difference between Dems and Socialists, now…

…she can’t tell us when her babies became human beings.  Good on the reporter asking the question – abortion lovers just LOVE to use all kinds of scientific words (e.g., a clump of cells, tissue mass, zygot, embryo, fetus) in order to diminish the one enduring and truthful fact – it is Life.  These same people get overwrought if they see a pregnant lady smoking, eating the wrong foods, or pounding down more brewskis than they believe is “healthy” – it’s all about the baby.  But when it comes to abortion, well now, we see the obfuscation and deflection arise from deep within to protect the (sometimes casual) taking of that “child’s potential” (as Hillary has been saying lately).

Here, watch Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Chair of the Democrat National Committee, go frog eyed at the question, and then refuse to answer the question:

CCCC

She can’t.  No, she really can’t.  After all, when confronted with situation and having to admit that HER OWN CHILDREN were once in the same position, the same development state, as the babies that get rent limb from limb, how could she answer that question?

If unions are all that hot of a deal…

SEIU Local 925…then when given the FREEDOM TO CHOOSE, why are even more government union members deciding to leave?  And it couldn’t happen to a better union:

Government employees in Seattle do not exactly fit the profile of the average Republican voter. But As the Washington Examiner’s Sean Higgins reported this week, they aren’t suckers either.

Thanks to a recent Supreme Court decision on public sector union membership, many members of Local 925 of the Service Employees International Union — those who had not explicitly signed up to join the union — suddenly found that dues were no longer being taken directly out of their paycheck. As a result, 38 percent of the local’s membership was gone overnight.

It is always about the power to control and unions are no different.

Fox News Republican Primary Poll – 10/13/2015

Interesting – No, not that Trump and Carson are at the top but that Ted Cruz to third. First time in a long time he’s in double digits. Quite the jump. Only a snapshot, but still, now that some of the normal and sane (re: not this news / political junkie) are starting to pay … Read more

ObamaCare Bankrupts TN School District – “Cost-Curve” Forces Them to Close

school-closed

You read that right. The Affordable Care Act’s “cost-curve” and regulatory rules have made insuring teachers and staff so “affordable” that the school can no longer afford to operate.

In an AP report, Clay County Director of Schools Jerry Strong said the school board made its decision to cancel classes because of budget issues that are related to government mandates that the district can’t afford.

The Stigma is Not the Problem

Peter Lemiska | Editorial

heroin-addiction

In one of the most shocking developments ever seen in New Hampshire, quiet little communities are being shattered with scores of untimely, needless deaths. They weren’t caused by mass murderers, gun violence, or some plague – at least not a plague in the medical sense.

Finally, a cure for conservatism!

Co-researchers from the University of York and the University of California released the news today that they were able to use a technique to temporarily shut down parts of the brain and subsequently alter the beliefs of their subjects, all by using a coiled magnet and waving it around the subjects’ brains.  The following is an illustration of the technique, called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation:

TMS

According to the study, the researchers were able to significantly reduce their subjects’ beliefs in God (“religiosity”) and reduce their fear of immigrants (“ethnocentrism”)! Thirty eight self-described hard core conservatives allowed researchers to use a magnet coil positioned over their brains to simply wave away their beliefs.  Amazing.

NY State Senator Doesn’t Understand the Concept of a Trojan Horse

trojan horse

According to the Observer, State Senator Liz Krueger of Manhattan is so concerned about promoting her gun control agenda that she has proposed a novel idea—pack the NRA with a pro-gun-control “covert cell” to undermine the power of the NRA and change its policies from the inside. Only problem is, she announced her dazzlingly original plan at a public forum and press event, for all the world to see.

Pure genius.

Democrat Debate last nite – proved Mitt right

Democrat-Debate-Free Stuff15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

Yup, I think they can pretty much take that off the bucket list – mission accomplished in toto for one (they’re still working on the Stupid Party, however).  Free…you name it; paid leave, more SS benefits, tuition paid, more Obamacare – it never ends.  Mitt Romney was pilloried in the last cycle for his 47% remark yet here are these Socialists masquerading under the Democrat banner trying to shove each other aside in their rush to promise that 47% even more in their hopes to get an even higher percentage.  “Money for nothing” as the song goes.  Problem is, these same mind set Socialists and Progressives have been pretty much successful in breeding and educating out the social stigma that one was supposed to support you and yours instead of hammocking it around while demanding others support you – transformation indeed.

It is rather doubtful that any of these Democrat Wannabees

DEMOCRAT DEBATE: BEHOLD THE GLORY OF THE CHURCH OF THE STATE

And the Italian tagline certainly applies to last night’s debate:

All within the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State – Benito Mussolini

And the modern rendition:

Government’s the only thing we all belong to – Democrat National Committee

This is what they want, lust after, and certainly implement if they gain the Oval Throne.  Er, no – the government (small g) belongs to us and not this upside-down / inside-out distortion that the Democrats would have us believe in hoodwinking many into their collectivism.  The Founders believed that government was

No “1000-Year Flooding” After All But Don’t Expect ‘Da Media’ to Report That Truth

No epic flodding but the media damage is done

USGS has pulled the plug on the “1000 year” rainfall/flooding meme pitched by the media which is fine by them. The damage is already done. They milked that Climate cow and sent it off to pasture. They simply wont report the scientific clarification by an acknowledged “expert” and people will go on thinking that cheap, affordable energy caused epic warming-induced liquid misery for millions.

Not true.

Minimum Wage – the economics version of Obamacare

Which is to say – the turning upside down of a system for not a lot of benefit for anyone and will result in higher costs (in more ways than a few) for everyone.

The average family income of a minimum wage worker is more than $44,000 a year – far more than can be earned by someone working at minimum wages.  But 42 percent of minimum-wage workers live with parents or some other relative.  In other words, they are not supporting a family but often a family is supporting them.  Only 15 percent of minimum-wage workers are supporting themselves and a dependent, the kind of person envisioned by those who advocate a “living wage.”

Ponder these facts along with the related fact that more than half of all

Ah yes, this is the reason why Kelly Ayotte keeps calling out Ted Cruz

That would be my junior US Senator Kelly Ayotte and the junior US Senator from Kentucky (er, Texas), Ted Cruz.  From Big Government:

What it should tell you is that McCarthy obviously is a Washington insider, and his fall from grace as future Speaker obviously is bad news to the insiders or the establishment in Washington, both parties. And the reason for that is it is perceived that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) (96%) and the House Conservative Caucus are behind this, these Tea Party yokels, and it is viewed as these upstart conservatives taking control of the House, and they’re outsiders.

So you see that the insider elites are bound together not by ideology, but by class. If they were bound together by ideology there wouldn’t be a Republican in the establishment in Washington, there wouldn’t be a Republican lead allowed in. But the establishment in Washington is made up of people of both parties. The people not in it are conservatives, but Republicans, moderate level Republicans, liberal Republicans, communist Republicans, and all Democrats are in the establishment. Conservative Republicans aren’t.

And remember, Kelly Ayotte has a Conservative Review/Liberty ranking of

EMail Doodlings – whereby David Zebuhr of Gilford proves himself “Smugger than thou”

Smug electric car ownersAyup, the example that proves the point and David Zebuhr ran full tilt into it.  Spending time out in San Diego last week, it was clear to see this ‘tude up close and personal – moral superiority weaponized.  There can be no discussion, there can be no debate – Zebuhr makes the Progressive end point clear:

From: “David Zebuhr” <dzebuhr@yahoo.com>
Date: Oct 7, 2015 4:25 PM
Subject: Road Usage Fee
To: {all the NH State Senators}

I am calling for the resignation of Rep. Norman Major, R-Plaistow on the basis of his clear and strong demonstration of his dementia.  There is nothing even remotely rational or moral about his “Road usage fee”  that is a steep tax specifically and exclusively against those who have the temerity to register vehicles that fail to guzzle large quantities of gasoline
