The California State Senate has passed a bill sponsored by State Sen. Connie Leyva in support of on-campus abortion services at state colleges. Connie is excited about advancing her contribution to the genocide of pre-born babies. And while there does not appear to be a provision in the legislation for drive-thru services or no-charge RU486 vending machines, you’d be hard-pressed to think otherwise given how important the idea of accessibility to the tools of the chemical abortion trade is to her.
Project Veritas’ latest undercover video captured Clay Haynes, network security engineer, for Twitter discussing the company’s alleged willingness to hand over Trump’s entire Twitter record: tweets, mentions, private messages, etc. if it would help the Department of Justice’s investigation. We have to give credit where it is due. Speaker of the New Hampshire House, Gene Chandler is not historically what we’d call a conservative. But yesterday he used his vote to break two ties in the Legislature to kill bad bills.
The House deadlocked on two bills that would ban gay conversion therapy, requiring House Speaker Gene Chandler, R-Bartlett, to cast tie-breaking votes that defeated both bills.
This would be the Paid Family Leave Act – something that a few companies have put into action on their own thinking that it was the right thing to do and would possibly given them a competitive advantage a strictly voluntary program. Well with HB628, we now have a CLASSIC example of a Progressive Govt crowd-out in which Democrats just love themselves a new revenue source, co-opt a private sector idea, and shove the nose of the Govt camel not just under the tent but through the other side. The vote was 183 YEAS to 151 NAYS – with 33 RINOS voting with the Dems to put this on the back of the private sector. Sure, there were the usual suspects like Karel Crawford, Carolyn Gargasz et al, but there was one name that stuck out like a sore thumb:

I’d bet someone else’s money that New Hampshire Democrats are jealous of Connecticut and Dannel Malloy. Since 2011 he’s raised taxes at least three times, and instead of balancing the budget with those taxes he overspent each time creating a new deficit requiring more tax increases.
If we jumped in our way-back machine to the mid-to-late naughts, (2006-2010) Dennel’s style of government matches what New Hampshire Democrats had planned for the Granite State.
The New Hampshire House on Tuesday rejected (on a 99-222 vote) a motion to refer Rep. Katherine Rogers (D-Concord) to the Legislative Administration Committee on the grounds of her recent guilty plea to an assault charge. Rogers admitted to assaulting Susan Olsen during a ballot recount in November 2016. (See Steve MacDonald’s December 22 post.)

I find this take on the Oprah for President speculation hard to find: Will billionaire presidential candidate Oprah release her IRS records for public review? That is the first thing that came to my mind. She didn’t make as much money as she has without some interesting investments. Bring it on.
