Is Obama still smug about US manufacturing jobs?

Mfg_equipmentSHOT: Obama Says Manufacturing Jobs Aren’t Coming Back

“When somebody says like the person you just mentioned who I’m not going to advertise for, that he’s going to bring all these jobs back. Well how exactly are you going to do that? What are you going to do? There’s no answer to it,” Obama said, refusing to even say Trump’s name.

“He just says, ‘I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well how? How exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is, he doesn’t have an answer,”

Indict – But Do It Right!

Dodgy Trump DossierAs most readers will know I was working with James O’Keefe when his excellent gorilla journalists videotaped four Australians, during the lead-up to our New Hampshire Presidential Primary.  They were paid by the Australian Labor Party to come to the US and work for Comrade Bernie Sanders. This involved working with Sanders in several states as well as working against Hillary Clinton.

At the time I looked up the law that prevents foreign nationals from contributing a “thing of value” to a campaign.

Paid campaign workers are “a thing of value.”

Just remember, Twitter has hated Conservatives for a long, long time.

Twitler

Massive Overnight Twitter Purge Outrages Conservatives.

“Users locked out of accounts, lose thousands of followers.”

Plus: “Gab TV broadcast the reports they are getting by the thousands of people locked out. Twitter seems to be labeling Trump supporters ‘Russian bots’ and banning them until they provide confidential information most people don’t want Twitter to have.”

My account seems unaffected, but I’m good about blocking bots just as soon as they start following me. So I suspect Twitter really is purging fake accounts — but so far they seem to be letting leftwing bots slide.

Meanwhile, in other news: guess what Trump is building?

Border wall samples next to existing wall
Border wall samples next to existing wall

Well, well, with all of the other news going on this week, look what’s happening now – another campaign promise kept (reformatted, emphasis mine):

Border wall work begins in downtown Calexico

The federal government began work Wednesday to replace a section of border wall in California, the first wall contract awarded in the Trump administration outside of eight prototypes that were built last year in San Diego. Customs and Border Protection is replacing a little more than two miles in downtown Calexico, a sliver of the president’s plan for a “big, beautiful wall” with Mexico. A barrier built in the 1990s from recycled metal scraps and landing mat will be torn down for bollard-style posts that are 30 feet high, significantly taller than existing walls…In November, SWF Constructors of Omaha, Neb., won a contract for $18 million to replace the wall in Calexico, about 120 miles east of San Diego. It encompasses an area bisected by the New River, where smugglers are known to guide people through polluted waters. The project, which includes a bridge over the river, is expected to take 300 days.

NH Senate Kills Assisted Suicide Study Committee, Terminates Minimum Wage Hike Bill

NH SenateTwo good bits of news out of the New Hampshire State Senate this week.

SB 490, an end of life study committee bill that was sold by the sponsor as a path to assisted suicide legislation, was put to death by a vote of 12-10.

Cornerstone thanks the senators who voted ITL. Contact information for senators is at this link.

Sens. Giuda, Daniels, and Gannon spoke against the bill during today’s floor debate. Sen. Soucy was the only Democrat to vote ITL, and her vote was critical to passage of the ITL motion.

Respect for the dignity of human life won when SB 490 lost.

Another bill put to bed, so to speak, was a pathway to fight for fifteen, proposed by Dem. Sen. Soucy.

Windham School Board – I feel the dark shadows around them and their policies unfollowed

WSD-LogoAs I have been blogging about the Windham School Board’s seemingly problematic process in implementing their Transgender bathroom/locker room policy, I decided to ask further. Given that they receive State tax funding, I find it entirely appropriate that NH’s Right To Know (RTK) law, as enshrined in RSA 91-A, should be used.  A government that is open and transparent should be the aspirational model we all seek. When Government, at any level, is not transparent, bad things happen (“the road to hell is paved with good intentions” is only the best case scenario).  I do have some materials that a number of birdies have tweeted over – something ain’t jiving well here.  So let’s either let them use their own Big Flashlights on themselves – or we’ll shine ours on them.

A Short History of Entitlement Abuse and Healthcare Deception in New Hampshire

Bradley care full size Medic adeIf you’d like to browse through a detailed overview of New Hampshire’s history of entitlement abuse, then I’ve got the article for you. It starts like this.

Today, the New Hampshire Senate began a public debate about reauthorizing Obamacare Medicaid expansion. Since 1991, New Hampshire has been funding a large portion of its general fund from a Medicaid scam loophole. We have since expanded the program and are now proposing to deceptively use the opioid crisis to expand and make more permanent our 27-year orgy of fiscal irresponsibility.

Along the way, we get bits and pieces of a scam that’s been unrolling over the backs of future generations for, well, generations.

About Activist Students Who Want Gun Control But Who Don’t Care About Those Who Died Trying To Protect Them

PawnsDid you notice how fast the Democrat machine got pawns from Florida education factories to the State Capital? It’s like the protest movement was already in place.

Oh, wait. It is “Protest Season.” This is the time of year the left pops its head out of the various non-profits where they hibernate over the winter.

But I want to make several points about the school kid pawns as they shout pre-written Democrat slogans.

How Progressive Policy May Have Cost 17 People Their Lives

Nikolas CruzThe culture question will continue to dominate our discussion as we work our way through why a troubled kid shot up a school.  But Democrat-Progressive policy may have some part to play as well.

Back in July 2012, the Obama Administration formalized a rule warning school districts to consider race when handing down discipline. It warned against schools using “methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools.”

In 2015 Broward County Florida, the county where 17 people just died in a mass shooting, adopted a plan along those lines.

We’re Going to See A lot More of This and We should

Republicans are already going after Democrats for Nancy Pelosi’s “crumbs” remark, regarding the savings taxpayers will see from Tax Reform and the  Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. I can’t say how successful they will be, but given all the money the RNC has stockpiled I would not be surprised to see these sorts of ads … Read more

Pine Tree Ramblings – Vol 5

Church and School.  Two places where a lot of shootings take place.  Both are relatively gun-free zones, one mandated by law, the other by sense.  Although, there are no gun-free zones wherever I am. School Board Meeting Posting

This is the meeting at which the Windham School Board is going to discuss their JBAB policy.  I guess some little birdies told the head honcho that the jig was up on trying to use a smaller room than what might be needed to get the meeting canceled due to [deliberate] overcrowding.  Good for the good guys!

Transgenderism: A State-Sponsored Religion?

Gender dysphoria is a serious mental health issue. By contrast, transgenderism is a belief system that increasingly looks like a cultish religion—a modern-day Gnosticism denying physical reality for deceived perceptions—being forced on the public by the state. –  Andre Van Mol, MD, board-certified family physician in private practice in California and co-chair of the American … Read more

Every school shooter you’ve heard of came out of public schools

look-son-an-angry-purple-haired-woman-dressed-as-a-vagina-24949691While the professional left and their collectivist herd bleat and low about the government watchdogs that failed again having more power to watch over this or that, the political Right is having an increasingly constructive discussion about how we got here from there.

We built a culture in which celebrity is our highest aspiration. From “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” to “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” we have taught our kids that being rich, being famous, being glamorous is what’s important. When we cut ourselves loose from any virtue higher than others’ opinions of us, no one thought it would result in a generation of teens who eat Tide Pods for a few Youtube clicks.  Because no one ever thought.
