If you ever questioned media bias, which is ridiculous because even the media is finally admitting it is biased, the “coverage” of yesterdays’ Women’s Defense league 2A rally should resolve this for you.
There wasn’t much coverage at all, but WMUR wins an award for slanted coverage.
That was my response to this:

The town has received several inquiries about a recent mailing by the Gilford Taxpayers Coalition. Please be advised the information being distributed IS NOT AFFILIATED with the Town of Gilford or the Board of Selectmen or the Office of the Town Clerk-Tax Collector. Accordingly, the town neither endorses nor condones the content of the mailing. The official recommendations of the Board of Selectmen, Planning Board and the Budget Committee are set forth in several warrant articles as noted on the ballot. No other positions have been expressed and no mailings have been sent by any Town of Gilford government officials.

This is hysterical! This takes a special kind of stupid to associate that name, Gilford Taxpayers Coalition, with the Town of Gilford. Now, there could be one of two reasons for this – or a special kind of stupid person (or group of people) – that would require a Town Administrator to denounce and deny that the Town has any affiliation with such a group:

Yep, Chairman Mao Buckles Ray Buckley of the NH Dems wouldn’t know what gun safety is even if it bit him in the arse. He’s just all out of sorts that people actually believe ALL of the US Constitution and the NH one as well:

When President Trump signed tax reform into law the individual mandate to Obamacare, the fine – that taxing power Chief Justice Roberts claimed gave Congress the power to seize regulatory control over health insurance – ceased to exist. The tax is gone. It’s dead. No more.
If there is no tax, has the SCOTUS ruling that saved it lost its teeth?
Twenty States Attorney General think so and have challenged the constitutionality of Obamacare in its now neutered state.

Gilford may be an affluent town but not everybody in town is affluent. We need people in our elected positions who understand this dynamic. Gilford has many citizens that their only source of income is their Social Security check. Many people who work in the private sector have not seen raises for years on end. Obamacare has cost them dearly. Yet they are asked to keep supporting a never-ending rise in government costs.
This year we have contested positions for all of the Budget Committee seats.
When I hear adults are slobbering all over themselves by saying “listen to the kids – they know more than we do about guns” (re: Florida high school shooting), I just shake my head.
