Hungary can’t ban Russian gas and oil because 85% of its natural gas and over 56% of its oil comes from Russia, making it the most dependent of the Euro nations on that source. All of Europe is at some level dependent on Russia, and there is no way around it. Unless of course, Biden unlocks American oil and gas production.
But the left is so intent on destroying fossil fuels here and replacing them with “clean renewable electric” (which likely is impossible, or will take 50-60 years and bankrupt the nation) that they let the Russian dictator, whose latest pronouncements to young Russian entrepreneurs hints at further aggressions targeting the Baltic countries, continue funding his war of conquest.
If Biden can be made to get off the back of American fossil fuel production after the November elections here it would still take months to get up to speed but with our reserves, we have the ability to replace Russia as the primary supplier to Europe.
Good for Europe, good for America, bad for Putin, plus it would send a message to China, who has been casting hungry eyes at Twain for years now.
For that to happen, the Republican Party would need to, for once, act in unison, replace at least half the RINOs and get at least close to a veto-proof majority. That could take some serious arm twisting, if not braking.
Honestly, I’m not so very opposed to taking that kind of hard line with the RINOs but don’t suppose it’s really practical. Still, everyone that is actually concerned with this nation’s future needs to become active and donate to true conservative candidates. And then actually get out and work to get true conservatives elected.
All our futures and our children’s depend on it because the left doesn’t care one iota about you, me, or the American people or nation.
