I do watch the Sunday morning political talk shows even if they are quite Progressive in outlook even as they insist that they are solidly in the middle. That’s because they are of a hive mind, soaked in their own intellectual/ideology social strata that has hardly anyone Right of center asked to be at their gatherings. And if you doubt me, just listen to James O’Keefe’s address from either at The Concord Hotel, or more tightly focused, from Dartmouth College.
Back to the Sunday talk shows – in this case, The Week with George Stephanopolous. They had a segment close to the top of the show on “gun violence”. Read that phrase again and ask yourself “what’s wrong with that phrasing?” and then watch the excerpt, below, that spawned this installment of Skip’S Sauntering Snippets. It’s not what they say it is, they don’t name what the real problem is, and what the plain answer is to solve the problem (hint: it isn’t more government intrusion):
