When Barry Obama opened the border in 2014, something happened. Drugs and gangs poured into the US, and the ‘Opioid Crisis’ began. Dead kids were headline news, but no one talked about how things got that way. Democrat policy was how.
We reported it and even predicted a few things as a result. The Left would use it to grow government, which they did, and now that they are back in power and the border is more open than ever, the opioid crisis is back with a vengeance.
Newly released data shows that the leading killer of Americans aged 18 to 45 is fentanyl overdoses, with nearly 79,000 people in the age range dying of them between 2020 and 2021.
The Left’s favored COVID policies likely played a role as well. Unemploying people, preventing them from going out, restricting their lives, trapping them on government subsistence in the name of public health has killed untold numbers of Americans. And if you were in the prime of your working years, you did it with Fentanyl.
