The New Hampshire Executive Council has done it again. They’ve pissed off Planned Parenthood (PP) in NH and PPNE (Planned Parenthood Northern New England), by voting not to fund abortion provider contracts in the state.
CONCORD – Today, New Hampshire’s Executive Council voted 4-1 against 24-month contracts with three family planning providers that also provide abortion care – Equality Health Center, Lovering Health Center, and Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (#41C).
This vote comes quickly on the heels of the Council’s September 4-1 vote to defund the health centers through December 31, 2021, a six-month contract period.
PP uses the typical narratives. This damages public health, blah blah blah.
No, it doesn’t. It protects the health of pre-born babies—individuals with unique DNA signatures. But even then, irate liberals or concerned progressives are more than welcome to send money to support abortion, even if they send it to Planned Parenthood, a cash-rich private company and global corporate behemoth.
Not that they should see the need.
PP has so much money, as does PPNE that they could easily fund these centers with a portion of their local marketing or lobbying budget.
Instead of doing that, they whine about elected officials refusing to finance their business model with taxpayer money then call them anti-public health or anti-women’s health.

We are not sad about your predicament.
You have more than enough funds to cover the costs at these centers, but you spend exponentially more than that on lobbying politicians to spend other people’s money.
No one should weep for you.
Update: The EC has “tabled the contracts until the January 12 meeting in order to get the results of what the clinics were going to do to make sure there was separation of funds.”
If history is any guide and PP is the example, they can’t provide it which is why Planned Parenthood is so uppity about it.
