Culture can often be everything. One absorbs the culture in which they grow up and once they pass into adulthood, absorb that culture as well. For most of us, though, it is that culture in which we came of age – elementary, high school, college – the culture in which one is stewing counts the most.
Just as the preferences of Progressive-era intellectuals for genetic explanations of group differences led them to give little attention to cultural explanations of intergroup differences in educational achievement, so the preferences of intellectuals in the second half of the twentieth century for external social explanations – racial segregation and/or discrimination in schools being prominent – led them to likewise overlook cultural explanations.

How else does one explain the multi-generational poverty in the Democrat-controlled cities?
How does one explain the behaviors in the ghetto (a word that has fallen out of usage due to political correctness)? It doesn’t matter if the skin color is white, brown, or black – culture counts.
The only remedy is The Family. Parental Authority and Responsibility.
A Mother and a Father who are actively involved in their children’s lives. Providing solid examples of Right vs Wrong, what is Good and Bad, the idea of Chivalry and Manners.
The inculcation of Personal Responsibility, Civic Duty (and not that meaningless “giving back”) – and the idea of recognizing your potential and working towards it.
And yes, recognizing that God is a Higher Power to which we will be called in front of to account for our actions – and not just Man himself believing they are their own god.
That Govt is supposed to be limited, that the Law applied to our elected Representatives is the Constitution and THEY are to be held accountable to it.
