I think this chart shows what most Conservatives, even as we are painted akin to religious deniers by the Eco-Socialists, actually believe – climate changes. All the time. Epochal changes between warming periods and Ice Ages.
Temps change from day to day: we had 4 days of 90+ temps here in NH followed by 4 days where the temps couldn’t get out of the 50s. And then there are other documentable changes as well:
When I was in college we were on the left side of this chart and ALL of the media were giving dire stories that we were heading into another Ice Age and WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!
Then temps picked up (middle of the chart), and then see-sawed but WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!! continued – just from the other end of the spectrum.

Lighten up, Francis but be sure that unless Jesus has planned His Second Coming soon, we’re still all gonna die. Maybe. But mostly – it’s just life (which comes to an end – we have to deal with and acknowledge it).
What these global temperature extremists keep forgetting, like the other dystopian prophets, is humans. Specifically, human ingenuity. And with more of us on the planet, we get quicker and smarter and live better and better with less and less (and less waste and energy usage as well). They can’t account for those positive Black Swans because NO ONE can.
