If we follow the Left’s Chicken-Little Climate Decoder template, New Hampshire is destined for non-stop rain. It’s been cool and rainy for two days now, and well, that has to mean we need more government.
But it was hot for a few days before that, so that is why we need more government. A familiar refrain. People with whom we should trust least with power keep coming up with reasons to give themselves more of it.
John Kerry is Biden’s Climate Tsar, the poster man-child for the compulsion; he can’t think of a reason not to expand government. A trait that comes with his party affiliation. The insufferable urge to justify your political existence, the will to fund it at the expense of others, and to defend it with walls of bureaucrats and an unpassable moat of policy.

Neither facts, reality, nor science shall be allowed even after more than 40 years of whining with no support from the actual climate. And they wonder why not everyone is down for that struggle? Actually, they don’t. We are too stupid to merit even that sort of consideration.
Only they know what is real and what is best. Everything else is marketing, so John Kerry has announced that this is a war.
U.S. climate envoy John Kerry said on Monday the world needed to adopt a “wartime mentality” to face the challenge posed by climate change, urging development banks to scale up their green finance efforts. …
“We’ve got to get a kind of wartime mentality here,” Kerry told a European Bank for Reconstruction and Development conference, calling on countries including the United States to change their bureaucracy to enable quicker action.
Yes, of course. The war on poverty and the war on drugs (the former remains unchanged and the drugs won) were such a success. Trillions were diverted from productive purposes to justify the existence of John Kerry and those like him. Laundered over decades for the good of no one, we were told they were needed to help.
It’s the same for the climate. Decades and trillions and gravy must flow. Climate Reich Marshal Kerry is just beating the drum a bit louder. You know, ‘cuz CO2 emissions beget warming beget chronic government-run money-laundering operations.
Rent-Seekers and policy brokers have turned up the heat – we need more money to sustain the fraud hockey stick. And fraud it is!
Once again, thanks to Tony Heller at Real Climate Science for both preserving and crunching the data because the swampy moat dwellers and folks like Climate Reich Marshal Kerry will not stop until they get their way, and that includes erasing the past to “prove” their promised future.
One that not only has nothing to do with climate but nothing they do would change it.
What will change is the truth, and that’s the “Climate” war John Kerry is actually waging.
