If You Are Voting Republican in 2022 … You Are The Problem.

I want to follow up on something Steve wrote in his recent post about the GOP-posers in the State Senate removing the ban on Critical Race Theory from the budget bill.  Here is what Steve wrote:

Their interests appear more focused, not on New Hampshire’s political future but Chris Sununu’s.

Actually, these GOP-in-name-only-State-Senators are focused on their own political futures. They are neither principled nor deep thinkers. More specifically, they believe the NHGOP punditocracy that they have a magic carpet ride to reelection in 2022 with Sununu at the top of the ticket … as long as he maintains the polling favorables he achieved through hoaxing us on (oh … I’m sorry … keeping us safe from) COVID. So, needless to say, they will do whatever the NHGOP punditocracy tells them they need to do to maintain Sununu’s favorables … even if it is as noxious as teaching schoolchildren that people with white skin are inherently racist.

The corollary to this … which so many GOP voters vehemently deny (even though it is undeniable) … is that these GOP-posers just don’t give a damn about GOP voters. Their attitude is that GOP voters “have nowhere else to go.” That so long as we throw them a bone on guns and raise the specter of an income tax, they’ll “come home.”

Just what will it take for these voters to realize that voting for Sununu and these other self-serving frauds is just moving New Hampshire further and further and further to the Left, albeit a Leftist dystopia without a state income tax? As Karlyn Borysenko wrote:

… the Republican-controlled Senate Finance Committee, under the “unofficial” direction of Republican governor Chris Sununu, gutted the bill, passing an amendment for a watered-down version of it that removed all the major provisions. … Among the provisions removed was a prohibition on teaching that America is a fundamentally racist country, and that hard work is white supremacy.

Stated more succinctly, teaching that whites are inherently racist and, therefore, America is a racist country is now NHGOP ORTHODOXY. As is Obamacare. As is biological males competing on girls sports teams. As is supporting the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement. THIS (and more) IS NOW GOP ORTHODOXY IN NEW HAMPSHIRE.

I have had enough. I am NOT voting GOP in 2022 … no matter how often and how loud the NHGOP punditocracy shrieks INCOME TAX, INCOME TAX, INCOME TAX.

NOTE THAT I DID NOT SAY THAT I AM NOT VOTING FOR AMERICA-FIRST GOP CANDIDATES. I most certainly am. But I most certainly am NOT voting for a candidate simply because he has an R after his name on the ballot. And especially not if he has a picture of himself with Sun-King Sununu on his campaign literature.

I expect to be part of a small minority … a very small minority. For example, too many still insist that Anne Edwards has gone rogue in Windham … when she is obviously simply doing Sununu’s bidding. People who persist in believing that Sununu and his boy Formella have no control over Anne Edwards will continue to believe that reelecting the same RINOs will somehow produce a different result.

They believe that Sununu and Chucky Morse and Jeb and Sherm will “stand up to” the ATF when the firearms confiscations begin. They won’t. All they’ll do is blast out a bunch of fundraising emails telling us that we need to increase our Republican majorities in Concord in order to stop the Biden gun-grab, and to click here to send them more money.

If this … making Critical Race Theory part of NHGOP orthodoxy … can’t make them open their eyes and see exactly what total self-serving grifters they have been supporting, then I fear nothing can.
