Have you noticed how many of our institutions are no longer worthy of any trust? It used to be that we didn’t trust the Departments of Labor, & Education, the EPA & BATF, and the big 3 network news + WaPo, NYT, NPR. Even people like Chris Matthews, Ted Koppel, Walter Cronkite, Huntley & Brinkley, the McLaughlin Group, and 60 Minutes were trusted. CNN during the first Gulf War was our source for news. We largely trusted our state government, and kept careful track of our local schools and town governments, but hey, they are our neighbors.
Now, look at the state of institutions:
– The FBI? Hell, no. Though there are still some good field offices and agents (and I know some), there’s no way to tell good from bad anymore.
– The Justice Department – not a prayer.
– Treasury Department – QE2 anyone? Monetizing the debt?
– Education Department – gone full woke in 2 months
– Labor Department – gone full socialist in 2 months
– Energy Department – Keystone pipeline? Price of gas & heating oil? Green energy will save us, right Texas?
– Judiciary – Judge Emmet Sullivan went from hero to villain to master villain. Must be removed. There are some bright stars here, but they are getting dimmer.
– Supreme Court – we celebrated when Trump put 3 “conservative” justices on the court, giving “us” a 5-4 majority when Roberts is Roberts and 6-3 when Roberts is normal. Yet they refuse to take up important cases. Two of the new justices are co-opted already.
– Military – attacking civilians over their opinions, allowing themselves to be used as political props..
– Media – we knew we would never get it straight from NYT or WaPo, but they have gone full leftist. Same with CNN & MSLSD. They were allowed to carry on a false narrative for over 2 years, and continue to lie about Republicans, Trump supporters, and Conservatives. Even Fox News, the news side, has been co-opted.
– The Filibuster – will be gone shortly.
– Free and Fair elections – they were tenuous before. Now with the outright theft of 2020, we are in deep trouble. If HR1 becomes law, things will get very bad over the next couple of cycles.
– Can’t trust many Republican governors – Sununu – you know the story. Abbott just attacked Gab. That moron in Georgia.What’s left that’s still with us?
– Many elected sheriffs, but that number is dwindling.
– Legislatures controlled by Republicans, but there are enough RINOs to stop many actions to restore the Constitution.
– Some of the judges and justices put in place by Trump, Bush, and Reagan.The only thing I see that will save us, and even that is a longshot, is an Article V convention. And the Second Coming.
The Left thought “long,” decided to “act” long,” and has been incremental sizing “long” through all of our institutions. It has been happening for well over 120 years. That is the hatred that they have for the America that our Founding Fathers created.
The Left can’t stand freedom, they can’t stand that individuals should be able to decide for themselves, they can’t stand that people don’t wish to agree with them.
In short, by destroying and turning them against our history in all of the institutions that used to be trusted, they’ve made it clear that they are the People of Hate. And in doing so, telling the rest of us they hate us – why else are they demonizing anyone “not Them”?
Like the Islamists of the Palestinians who wish to sweep all the Jews out of Israel and into the sea, Progressives wish to figuratively do the same to us.
