Remember that time, at journalism camp, on selective editing day, when you learned to take someone out of context for partisan interests. It was a crowded class. Lots of “reporters” there, including people from the Washington Post, where democracy doesn’t die in darkness; it gets shivved in broad daylight.
Also note headline on the Post's follow-up story is a sort of maliciously anodyne "Recording reveals details of Trump call to Georgia’s chief elections investigator." It's not "Trump's Remarks Grossly Misrepresented Across Media, Because We Credulously Fall For Political Ops."

The headline and text of this story corrected to erase the evidence.
Winston Smith lives at the Washington Post, where he corrects the history he previously created from one political purpose to the next. A tool of the establishment ruling class.
There’s nothing new about that, nor this.
You don’t even need fingers to count the number of WashPo allies carrying the story about the correction even though they were all mules for the original deception.
How ironic is it that they peddled the false accusation against Trump as election tampering, but their lying about it is not?
