Biden Wants to Turn the Military Into his Praetorian Guard

During Rome’s imperial period, the Praetorian Guard (cohorts praetoriae) was an elite unite that functioned as the Emperor’s personal bodyguard. It appears that Imposter-President Biden envisions a similar role for our military.

The U.S. military on Wednesday acknowledged it was unsure about how to address white nationalism and other extremism in its ranks, and announced plans for military-wide stand-downs pausing regular activity at some point in the next 60 days to tackle the issue.

The decision to a hold a stand-down was made by Lloyd Austin, who made history by becoming the military’s first Black defense secretary after a long career rising in the ranks of the Army. In his confirmation hearing, Austin underscored the need to rid the military of “racists and extremists.”

Of course, at this point, terms such as “racist,” “white nationalist,” and “extremist” mean someone who disagrees with the prevailing political orthodoxy. So what we are seeing is a political-cleansing of the military. What another Communist with the first name of Joe … that would be Stalin … did during the 1930s:

The scale of the purge was staggering: 13 of 15 army commanders, 50 of 57 corps commanders, 154 of 186 divisional commanders, 220 of 406 brigade commanders, all 11 vice-commanders of defense, 98 of 108 members of the Supreme Military Soviets, all army political commissars, 25 of 28 corps commissars, 58 of 64 divisional commissars. Even the lower ranks were not spared: almost half the colonels and 7,403 captains fell victim to the purge. “This is worse than when artillery fires on its own troops,” commented General Konstantin Rokossovsky. More Soviet generals and colonels were killed by Stalin than were to fall in World War II.

To be clear, I am not saying that Biden intends to kill or imprison anyone. That is no longer necessary in the age of Big Tech. Anyone with the wrong political views that do not recant or resign will be destroyed through social media.

The Left may call it combatting “extremism,” but what we are really talking about is sublimating cultural-marxism within the military. The goal of the Left is to control every institution … and that includes the military.

And as for that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who will be overseeing the political-cleansing of the military … he was confirmed 93 to 2. The only “no” votes were Mike Lee and Josh Hawley. The Senate GOP is not the opposition-party … they are the acquiescence-party. Pathetic.

By the way, did you know that the Praetorian Guard had grown so powerful and corrupt by the end of the second century that they murdered the Emperor and placed the Emperorship up for bid, which led to a series of civil wars that nearly led to the destruction of the Empire.
