So we’re seeing a purge by the Progressively based Big Tech of Conservatives from their platforms. Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, Spotify, Itsy, Stripe, Pinterest, and a ton more. They’ve joined in as “the muscle” of the Democrat Party.
Make no mistake, while Antifa and BLM rioters are the Democrat boots on the ground, the REAL war has now begun in earnest – the information war.
They are trying to stop the signal and make it impossible for Conservatives to communicate. Imagine, in the Land of the Free, the enemy isn’t wearing uniforms – they’ve learned how to wage insurgent war and WE are their enemies.
You all know that Parler has been targeted and shut down (midnight last night). Conservative Treehouse was targeted back in November by their hosting site, Auttomatic which is a big WordPress site. CTH has already moved and Parler has said that they are hoping to be back up in a week.
So some are being shut down – many have already called it quits and have moved onto to more Free Speech oriented climes. Parler, before its plug was pulled, was having tons of people signing up to the point their servers couldn’t handle the loads – a bad problem but for a good reason. Gab, too, is having some problems.
One of the sites I go to is LiberalLogic101 on Gab. For about a week, their posts haven’t been able to show any of their images. In composing this post, I wanted a screenshot to show but I’ve been waiting about 3 minutes just for the text stuff to show up – nada.
Gab Picking Up 10,000 Users Per Hour, CEO Claims, After Trump’s Twitter Ban
“The traffic just keeps growing hang tight, even more servers on the way today.”
The CEO of Gab, a conservative-friendly social media site, claims it’s picking up 10,000 users an hour following Twitter banning President Trump.
“The traffic just keeps growing hang tight, even more servers on the way today,” Gab CEO Andrew Torba wrote on the site Saturday.
Gab, which launched in 2016, calls itself a “social network that champions free speech, individual liberty, and the new free flow of information online.”
…“I’m going to be upfront with you: I am in the process of connecting with President Trump’s team as we speak,” wrote Torba in a message posted to his website. “The President’s Gab account is already reserved with hundreds of thousands of followers. We need to massively expand our server capacity and very quickly.”
Meanwhile, Parler, a social network that pitches itself as a “free speech” alternative to Twitter and Facebook, is being censored.
“Over the past several months, Parler has become one of the fastest-growing apps in the United States. Millions of President Trump’s supporters have flocked to it as Facebook and Twitter increasingly cracked down on posts that spread misinformation and incited violence, including muzzling Mr. Trump by removing his accounts this past week. By Saturday morning, Apple listed Parler as the No. 1 free app for its iPhones,” The New York Times reported.
And Gab reported that they had 500,000 new users yesterday with 18 million visits. I like the line from Gab’s tweet that was in the post:
The Silicon Valley Exodus has begun
Ayup. While the Left thinks that Conservatives are rednecked, backward troglodytes (how else could they justify their sense of Moral Superiority?), Conservatives are giving Silicon Valley the one finger salute and leaving. For good. You don’t want us? We’ll go elsewhere.
Mostly Steve’s accounts but our content will be there.
I’m still in the process of suspending the GraniteGrok Twitter account (which actually is my personal account, go figure) and we are in the process of winding down our Facebook account. Why do we want them to profit from our content and our eyeballs?
ALL Conservatives and Libertarians, individual and groups (and that means you as well, NH Republicans and NH GOP groups) ought to leave immediately – why give aid and succor to the Progressives that hate you?
“BUT OUR FRIENDS AND AUDIENCES ARE STILL THERE” – sure thing. You keep saying that as their boot comes down upon your electronic necks. Stop being cowards and take the leap!
