They’d be charged with fraud. Lawsuits would pile up faster than snow during a nor’easter. Many in the media and those who abet them would be ranting about deception and corporatist opportunism.
There would be some level of name-calling, insults, and derision.
I think we can agree that a clear umbrella can’t protect you from a virus.

That’s an interesting description and I assume it is a quote or some reduction of the Rep’s explanation for the use. Otherwise, the Union Leader might be misleading people into believing that a clear umbrella can somehow protect you from a virus or its spread.
Just like the Democrat using it.
Just like cloth face-coverings or masks.
