Do not feel overwhelmed by any perceived loss of continuity. In Lib-World, there is no spoon. But if there were a spoon, your description of it, or anything you might say about it, would be too biased to be reliable. Mired in your inability to escape the web of your (probably racist) culture.

A crisis of conscience amongst a lot that has none
Imagine a sea turtle found with a medical mask stuck in its nostril. Or, better yet, one who choked on it and almost died. Such a collision of priorities should, to an outside observer, create a conundrum for Progressives.
Freak out about the evils of masks to save the Sea Turtles or screw them to save advances in virus socialism? The answer is easier than you think and it applies to everything on the Left.
The identity politics totem pole (or is that poll?) is a strange convergence of a Rubik’s Cube and Jenga. The goal is to move the “colors” around so that it collapses on everyone but you the way you want when you want it. The goal (socialism) is all the matters, the pieces are just bits arranged to move closer to the goal.
Radical feminism was a thing until it objected to radical transgenderism. Being a feminist who opposes men pretending to be women (taking their sports scholarships, awards, and mucking up their private spaces) will get you excommunicated. The only out for feminists is to abandon decades of fighting for their rights only to have men become women with more rights who then take them back.
Maybe radical transfeminism is the solution?
Maybe not, and it actually matters not one wit.
The solution is always the same. What or who will increase the left’s political power or advance socialism right now. If radical feminism suddenly proves a more vital vehicle then men pretending to be women will get the boot faster than you can say human rights.
Marxism is the top-dog “ism” and all others pale by comparison.
As to the matter of the medical mask and the Sea Turtle, well, until Turtles get the vote, and it is a reliable Democrat vote, in this example, the Testudines are sh*t out of luck.
