Biden is a Hypocrite

Joe Biden is a hypocrite, he’s a Democrat and a nominal Catholic. The man touts his Catholic faith out of one side of his mouth. Out of the other side, he vows to crack down on nuns. The man can’t keep his story straight. But then again these days it probably isn’t his story anymore.

The Democratic National Convention’s twitter account has a video touting Biden’s Catholic background. It went up on Sunday. Joe was probably in his basement while observant Catholics went to church. One month ago Biden was vowing to strip a group of nuns of their right to free exercise of religion. They refuse to provide contraceptives that violate their Catholic religious beliefs.

In a minute-long video clip posted by the DNC, Biden talks about meeting a group of nuns in St. Peter’s Basilica. He says they:

“epitomize everything…about generosity to other people, about reaching out, about making it a point to understand that we are our brother’s keeper… That’s what, in my experience, being raised as a Catholic and being educated by the nuns, that’s what those lovely women I’m talking to symbolize to me…”

The DNC adds the caption, “This is the kind of moral conviction we need in the president of the United States…”

Well no, we don’t need a two faced, mentally impaired, Marxist hypocrite for president.

Biden’s record is one of attacking nuns, not defending them. Last month, he pledged to overturn a Supreme Court decision affirming a group of nuns’ right to deny contraceptive coverage based on their sincerely-held religious beliefs. Biden is a hypocrite, clearly.

Biden is a Marxist bully bent on beating up on nuns

The Little Sisters of the Poor are a Catholic order that has existed since 1839. They serve poor elderly people in over 30 countries. This includes the United States.

In 2013, the Little Sisters had to sue the Obama-Biden administration’s Health and Human Services. They sought a religious exemption. Providing contraceptives and abortifacients went against their religious beliefs. After three years of litigation, the Supreme Court ruling came. It was in the Little Sisters’ favor in 2016. They can ill afford the legal expense of taking cases to the Supreme Court.

The Trump administration has a new rule expanding religious exemptions to include the Little Sisters. The state of Pennsylvania felt the need to insert itself in the matter. It did so suing the administration to take protections away from the nuns. This case also made it to the Supreme Court. SCOTUS again made their decision in favor of the Little Sisters in July of this year.

The day the Supreme Court ruling came out, Biden made a promise. His promise? To take away the nuns’ exemption if elected president.

Biden said, “I am disappointed in today’s U.S. Supreme Court decision… If I am elected I will restore the Obama-Biden policy.”

Biden, who claims to be Catholic, has also flip-flopped on the abortion issue. Forty-seven years ago, Biden said Roe v. Wade went “too far.” Now, he says he would make Roe into federal law.

Some Catholics criticize Biden’s hypocrisy. They also criticize his support for abortion. A South Carolina priest refuses to serve Holy Communion to Biden because of his support for abortion. Rev. Robert Morey said, a “public figure who advocates for abortion places himself or herself outside of Church teaching…” Biden is a hypocrite.
