When New York was the world’s Hot Spot for COVID-19 infections, the President mentioned how some people wanted a two-week quarantine for parts of New York and New Jersey. Gov Cuomo had some not-so-kind things to say about that, but I guess he forgot them.

Good thing we have this internet machine that remembers almost everything. Elle Renyolds, writing at The Federalist notes that,
Cuomo shot back at Trump’s suggestion, calling it a “declaration of war on states” and saying “we would be Wuhan, China” if such a quarantine order was enforced.
“If you start walling off areas all across the country you would just be totally bizarre, counterproductive, anti-American, anti-social,” Cuomo continued in an interview with CNN. He also criticized a decision by the state of Rhode Island at the time to stop all cars with New York license plates crossing the state border. “If they don’t roll back that policy, I’m going to sue Rhode Island, because that clearly is unconstitutional,” he said.
Guess what? “[U]nder Cuomo’s new order, police in New York are now authorized to pull over vehicles with license plates from hotspot states and grill them on why they aren’t isolating.” He has also implemented a mandatory two-week quarantine for anyone from nine other states.
Hey babe, how you want to spend our two weeks of vacation this summer? I know, let’s self-quarantine in New York!
It’s almost as if he is walling off areas of the country. Declaring war on these states. And that would be fine if he hadn’t been such a dope about it when it was his state. There is plenty of evidence that COVID spread into New England as civilians tried to Escape from New York.

New York’s numbers have entirely skewed the nation’s numbers thanks to the incompetence of Democrat governance at every level. And that wouldn’t be much of a matter either given what we know about SARS CoV2, but again, Democrats are going to wild those numbers in their messaging. Try to stick them to Trump. But not everyone is a far-left Democrat who will ignore past statements or deeds.
And then there’s that internet machine that remembers almost everything. That’s a problem for the left, but don’t worry. If you elect Democrats, they have a plan to fix that too.
