If you use streaming services, you have probably been inundated with political ads. Butt Edge Edge, Steyer, and even Bloomberg. They’re going to fix the economy which I take to mean, wreck it. Some are promising to fix the planet. Seriously.
You probably can’t “change” a tire. As for fixing, we’ve seen what that means.
You fix wages in the name of the poor and create unemployment and poverty. You fix rents and raise property taxes and create homelessness. You fix healthcare and create waiting lists and rationing (you even made contraceptive costs skyrocket). If you fix the economy, the middle class will get poorer while the ruling class gets richer.
You can “fix” union and public pensions — sweetheart deals for family members and donors. And no one “fixes elections” like a Democrat. Always fixing the ways tax dollars can turn themselves into campaign donations.
Fixing the planet is not in your toolbox.
Democrats have been left to “fix” some of our most beautiful cities in America by which I mean to run them into the ground. ‘Cuz you’re so smart. Take that to a global scale, and you have the political and economic macrocosm of your pathetic stewardship of places like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Baltimore, and even Detroit.
We’d all but stamped out a handful of third-world diseases in the United States, but you fixed that! Liz Warren is blaming the climate, which is half right. It’s the unchanging climate of left-wing leadership.
If I had to sum up the accumulation of your Democrat Socialist accomplishment in two words, they’d be You Suck.
Fix the planet?
Your planet-saving ideas are the same as the ones you used to “fix” cities. That means you want America (and the world) to look like Baltimore. Corrupt, crime-riddled, one-party rule, with growing poverty and dependence, and an untouchable class of elites.
The Democrats running for President are promising to save us from this or that when what we need is saving from them, before it’s too late.
