Buffalo Wild Wings Refuses Service to Police Officers…Because They were Armed

Nonsense is so good only because common sense is so limited. —George Santayana

Not_visiting Bufalo Wild WingsWelcome to the UK! no, just kidding…actually, one might have thought this joint was in the UK. This food chain would not serve armed Police Officers.

MANASSAS, VA — Eight police officers were refused service at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday, apparently because they had their weapons displayed. As Reported in the Thin Blue line, Eight Prince William County Police officers on duty, but  in plain clothes,  walked into the Buffalo Wild Wings located near Wellington Road and Market Street, but were refused service by an employee who said they had to secure the guns before they would be served. Despite being in plain clothes, The officers had their badges displayed…but still weren’t served.

Scott Lupton, the general manager of the Manassas Buffalo Wild Wings location, apologized  for the “confusion” caused by the incident, characterizing it as  a “huge misunderstanding.”

Several weeks ago, I posted in my facebook the word, “NOPE!”  next to a photo of a window sign at Buffalo Wild Wings The sign read,

BUFFALO WILD WINGS®, INC. BANS GUNS ON THESE PREMISES

It is my policy to not patronize any establishment that will not respect my constitutional right to keep and bear arms. While noting it on social media, I didn’t write about it. I didn’t write about it because many places these days are festering pots chucked full of anti-second amendment pablum-puking liberals. It’s just something I accept as a reality.

In our society where the liberals say, “Only the Police and the Military should have guns,” and in some places only the police (and criminals) are the ones who do have guns.  But the Kool-Aid served up at Buffalo Wild Wings is some pretty strong stuff…perhaps “electric Kool-Aid,” Shrooms and all. Telling the cops they cannot be served there because they have guns…there is just something really funny about that.
