Gun-Toting ‘Lunatic’ Pleads Guilty to ‘Intent to Kill’

The mad right-wing lunatic who, last August, tried to shoot up the offices of the Pro-Gay Rights “Human Rights Campaign” in Washington DC has…

…pleaded guilty to one federal count of crossing state lines with guns and ammunition. He also pleaded guilty to one count of intent to kill while armed and one count of committing an act of terrorism with the intent to kill.

You hadn’t heard about that?  Well that’s because it was actually a left-wing-gay-rights activist who tried to shoot up the office of the Conservative Family Research Council, after finding the location from a list of “Hate Groups” posted on-line by the liberal Southern Poverty Law Center.

Prosecutors say Corkins, who had been volunteering at a center for gay, lesbian and transgender people, was carrying ammunition and Chick-fil-A sandwiches in his bag. Chick-fil-A was making headlines at the time because of its president’s stated opposition to gay marriage.

Corkins intended to smear the sandwiches in the faces of his victims to make a statement about gay rights opponents, he acknowledged during a hearing Wednesday.

Left wing hate goes unreportedNothing says “take that H8R” than having an unhinged liberal stuff a chicken sandwich in the face of your cooling corpse.  “I hope there’s no mayonnaise on that, I want my corpse to look good in the coffin.”

And thank the Lord it wasn’t some Tea Party guy.  If that had been the case we’d have had daily updates, news, and analysis for the past six months.  Everyone would know who Floyd Corkins was, where he lived, who his parents, friends and co-workers were, what he was like in elementary school, the’d find and interrogate old friends or love interests, corner relatives on well-worn sofas, even ask about the contents of his stomach before “the rampage,” and repeat ad nauseum everything he had ever seen, said, or done.  His name would have even appeared repeatedly in the congressional record as the unhinged nature of his attempted violence was catalysed for the greater public good.

Floyd would be the liberal poster child for the evils of the Republican world view.

And we’d have definitely been appraised of his Internet surfing habits, who he hung out with, and what groups he participated in.  But Floyd was a liberal who worked with gay activists.  And I bet Corkins was a Democrat.  I bet he read Huff Po, Daily Kos, watched MSNBC, and soaked in the bubbling broth of left-wing hate that passes for news and opinion in modern America.  He was probably reading up at some pro-gay and lesbian web site, found his way to  the SPLC web site, found the list of hate groups in DC (As defined by liberal H8Rs in the SPLC), and set himself to right some wrongs.

And when he did, it got little or no coverage from the Watchdog media, and vanished faster than a light summer rain. “What, shooting in DC?  Where?  Family Research Council?   Zzzzzzzz.”

Corkins?  Corkins?  Nope, doesn’t ring any bells.
