Anonymous Calls For Armed Rebellion

Anonymous declares war on USThe Obama Administration has been itching for an Internet foe to distract us from our current “non-social issues” related difficulties. (No jobs, no growth, that sort of thing.) Anything at all will do.  So how about this?

Anonymous has officially declared war on America by calling for an armed rebellion against the U.S. government. Not redneck militia.  Not TEA party patriots or former Military. Not even people with Gadsden flags in their windows or Ron Paul bumper stickers on their rusty Volvos.  It’s Anonymous.

DaTechGuy Blog has the links to the original reports, and some commentary about the perceived threat– but what I want to know is…how does the invertebrate progressive establishment even respond to this?

Killing Babies Should Be OK

That is the premise of an article written by some experts who believe that…

“The moral status of an infant is equivalent to that of a fetus in the sense that both lack those properties that justify the attribution of a right to life to an individual.”

There are more pull-quotes from this article than I know what to do with but to simplify my argument, this is exactly why abortion is wrong.  It is not a right or a privilege, it is but one small step in the progressive states patient journey towards state sanctioned euthanasia–where the state would be free to define “suffering” as any burden upon the state and the taxpayers who are paying the price for that burden.

Every Issue is a Social Issue

The single greatest shortcoming among the secularists, the non-religious right, most of the left, the social justice “small ‘r’ religious left, and the mass of humans too confounded (or disinterested) by it all to be called anything but in the middle, is that humans are essentially selfish and immoral creatures whom–if left unchecked–will inevitably devolve into tyranny.

If given an opportunity to take advantage they do.  And more often than not, if there are obstacles, be they divine commandments or temporal statutes, people find a way to not just break them, but to justify breaking them.  We are lazy.  The lowest common denominator is not beyond a single one of us.  And not to put too fine a point on that but we currently live in a country where executing an infant at birth, simply because that child’s mother said they did not want them, is a major feature of one of the two current political parties in America, while most of the people in the other one, are afraid to bring that up.

Will Jeanne Shaheen Send The IRS After the NHCAA?

The NHCAA is the New Hampshire Citizens Alliance for Action.  They are a 501 (c)(4), and the political-action arm of the New Hampshire Citizen Alliance (NHCA). The NHCA is a 501(c)(3) and the local chapter of USA Action which, if it was in a vat and you scooped some out, it would provide you with a frothing cup of primordial progressive/socialist poison.

I point this out {the 501 (c)(4) part at least} because according to a letter signed by New Hampshire’s own Senator Shaheen, sent to the Internal Revenue Service, several Democrat Senators have expressed a concern about whether 501(c)(4) groups are engaging in any campaign activity which (according to the Senators) is expressly prohibited by their 501 (c)(4) status.

There Is No Recovery

Time to put another nail in the Obama recovery coffin.  The recovery that started when the recession “ended” in June of 2009.  The recovery that is not growing jobs faster than the rate of population growth.

But that is hardly the worst of the Democrat’s problems.  The bigger problem is that they are selling trillion dollar deficits year after year on the assumption it is creating jobs.  They are printing money to pump into the economy on top of that to “jump start” this or that, which devalues the dollar, making everything cost more. Hillsdale College LogoAs a followup to Skip’s post on the Hillsdale College Constitution 101 class, I wanted to make you aware of some excellent video-lectures called an “Introduction to the Constitution,”  that you may want to watch before you proceed to ‘Constitution 101.’   You’ll have access to these if you register for the free Constitution 101 course, (a well as PDF’s of all the related founding documents, and study guides)  but I wanted to post them over the next few days to give you a taste of what you can look forward to in Constitution 101.

Besides, like many of you, we plan to do a lot of things at the Grok that we never end up doing because there are only so many hours in the day.  By posting these here we encourage ourselves, and hopefully others, to take advantage of these excellent opportunities–opportunities that arm us all with knowledge our progressive friends would rather you not have.

Emerson’s Boo-Hoo Towel Bill Goes Down in Flames

HB 1533 - The Boo hoo Towel Bill - Goes down in flamesConsider it settled.  Debating at the grown-ups table, at least for the remainder of the 2012 session of the New Hampshire House, will not be misconstrued as “bullying.”  HB 1533, an Act to turn heated State House debate you disagree with into a crime punishable with up to a $2500.00 fine, was killed 224-78. (That’s right cry-babies, I said Killed!)

While the biggest goof with the Boo-Hoo Towel bill should have been Rep. Susan Emerson (:-( – Rindge) using the legislative process to get even after “somewun hurt her feewings,” there are two greater embarrassments that I believe must take precedence.

The singer Adele (Adele Laurie Blue Adkins), has joined the pantheon of modern celebrity -women who believe that flipping the bird in front of alarge public audience (on television) is a reasonable way to behave.

And maybe it is.

Perhaps M.I.A. (and now Adele) will do to the middle finger what Bill Clinton did for the ‘Lewinsky.’   Oral sex isn’t even sex anymore nor is is, is.  So it can only be a matter of time before the middle-finger replaces the handshake–somewhere around 12-21-2012 if the Mayan’s were right.

If the economy is getting better…(Part 7)

Obama Economy down the 'Toilet'…then why does median household income keep declining?  Overall, median household income in the United States has declined by a total of 6.8% since December 2007 once you account for inflation.

The only thing rising is debt. (Along with real unemployment, poverty…etc)

Household debt is rising because people are out of work and trying to get by on credit.  The national debt is rising because Obama lied about cutting the deficit and Democrats have added trillions to it in just a few years.  Debt we cannot pay for with more debt.
