NH Democrats Focused on The Economy
Hah! No they’re not. If that were true they wouldn’t be blowing out the state budget and growing spending five times faster than estimated growth.
Democrats. Don’t you love them?
What they are actually focused on is off-shoring (that’s a metaphor) their own responsibility for managing our sovereign state. Instead of standing up and running on the Democrat party stated position on super-duper enhanced background checks at the state level, they are passing the buck on to the Federal government. It’s a big deal for them, “off-shoring” your state’s rights to the feds.
White House Changes To Benghazi Talking Points Revealed

Synopsis?
The first, at 4:05 p.m. (all times are Eastern Standard Time), indicated that the compound was under attack; the second, at 6:08 p.m., indicated that Ansar al Sharia, an al Qaeda-linked terrorist group operating in Libya, had claimed credit for the attack. According to the House report, these alerts were circulated widely inside the government, including at the highest levels. The fighting in Benghazi continued for another several hours, so top Obama administration officials were told even as the fighting was taking place that U.S. diplomats and intelligence operatives were likely being attacked by al Qaeda-affiliated terrorists. A cable sent the following day, September 12, by the CIA station chief in Libya, reported that eyewitnesses confirmed the participation of Islamic militants and made clear that U.S. facilities in Benghazi had come under terrorist attack. It was this fact, along with several others, that top Obama officials would work so hard to obscure.
The Obama Admin went with the random riot and then YouTube video lies for what, a week or more–despite evidence it was an al Qaeda affiliated terror attack.
There is No Ball
Do New Hampshire Democrats have their priorities straight? Think about it. The economy is creeping along. No one is projecting even moderate growth. Employment is likely to remain flat which means unemployment is as well. All in all, the best we can hope for, according to all the ‘experts’ is to drift along for a while. So what are New Hampshire Democrats doing?
In one of the safest states in the nation, with some of the most–dare I say liberal–gun laws in the country, they are investing their energy on harassing a Republican Senator (Kelly Ayotte) who doesn’t even have to run for office until 2016, over a vote that wouldn’t even do much if any good to solve the problem they claim it is meant to resolve; while at the exact same time, asking New Hampshire taxpayers to let them grow the size and cost of government as much as 10%.
Economy sucks, maybe 2% growth if we’re lucky over the next few years–New Hampshire Democrats want to give the government a permanent 9-10% raise.
Talk about not keeping your eye on the ball.
Wait. This is supposed to be like the Matrix, right. There is no ball. Look- Ayotte!
So Every New Hampshire Democrat Will Be Running on Background Checks in 2014?
The New Hampshire Democrat party is all-in on their background-check thing. They’ve got out of state money, out of state influence, out of state victims as props… So I guess this is pretty important to New Hampshire Democrats then? And to hear them talk, it is mighty important to New Hampshire citizens as well. Or is that just talk?
Can we expect every Democrat in the state at every level run for reelection on this issue? Will every New Hampshire Democrat running for office in 2014 put background checks at the top of every palm cards, flyer, mailer, and campaign web-site?
If New Hampshire citizens are behind this idea to the degree that New Hampshire Democrats claim, (just ask them, ‘everyone is talking about it’), then you’ll be running strongly on this issue, in all 400 house races, and all 24 state Senate races, the Governors race, plus the US Senate and Congressional races?

The Whores of UNH
UNH held a conference on women in the sex industry in which it used donations and student organization funds to bring in prostitutes from across the nation. No one knew that was where the money came from until AFP-NH filed a right to know request with the university asking how the travel and expenses of the prostitutes were paid for. They wanted to make sure that taxpayer dollars were not used for this purpose.
The same university that has engaged repeatedly in politicking itself, and the promotion of the left wing agenda, not to mention paying professors charged with sex crimes to do nothing while on probation, got a bit snippy in its reply.
Maybe UNH Could Spend Some Tax Dollars to Solve this ‘Problem’

A gaggle of Congressional Democrats, led by Representative Barbra Lee, has submitted HCR 36, a House Continuing Resolution that asks the House to recognize that Global Warming has a disproportionate (negative) impact on women who could be forced to turn to “transactional sex” to survive.
So much for bringing home the bacon and frying it up in the pan. Global Warming just wrecked that.
That’s right. Non-existent global warming could be responsible for an increase in prostitution. (I bet even UNH didn’t see that coming.)

The Union leader has just updated an earlier story about an 18 year old in Cocnord, New Hampshire who had been arrested and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon after a student reported that they had pulled a gun on them in the High School.
The evening incident resulted in an evacuation of the facility. The report suggests that about 50 people had to leave the school, students involved in activities and adult education participants were all evacuated so a police tac team could search the building. The student was found, off school grounds, where he was detained, arrested, and charged.
Tac team. Evacuation. Student charged with criminal threatening.
Wait. Turns out the girl who reported it lied.
Did NH Democrats Encourage Erica Lafferty to Crash Kelly Ayotte’s NH Town Hall?
Who in the New Hampshire Democrat party reached out to Erica Lafferty–the daughter of slain Sandy Hook Elementary School principal Dawn Hochsprung–to encourage her to leave her own state, which has all kinds of background checks for gun purchases that did no good at all, to come to New Hampshire and lean on our State Senator?
Talk about out of state influence.
With all due respect and deepest condolences to Ms. Lafferty for her loss, you are being played. All you did was reduce your very real tragedy to a tragic comedy by coming to my state to intimidate my Senator for not voting to pass a bill that would not have done one damn thing to prevent what happened to your mother. A reader just wrote me to ask what happened to public employee pay transparency in New Hampshire?
Transparent NH, the state web site where you can search the pay of every public employee in state government, is supposed to be updated every February with the payroll data from the previous year. The last year for which you can search data is 2011.
* Pay data is updated in February of each year. Ten years of data, starting at 2009, will be available to search.
For those of you who…may…not have noticed, tomorrow is…May 1st, 2013. As every good socialist knows, May 1st is international workers day. May 1st is a day dear to every Democrat’s class and wage-warfare riddled little heart. Not so dear to the millions of Americans that gave up looking for work as a result of Democrat economic policies but I digress. May is also not February. It is past February. Way past it.

GAO to Investigate Ammunition Stockpiling By Federal Agencies
The Government accountability office (GAO) has begun looking into why the Obama administration is arming agencies with enough ammo to sustain the average war for 27 years? Good question. We’ve been wondering that ourselves. Why would a guy who claimed that the country needed a civilian national security force be arming the department of education, and…as you’ll hear in the video on the jump, fisheries agents who apparently need 46,000 rounds of hollow points to…do some redneck fishin’ ?
Hollow points?
More ammunition than the military needs for almost three decades of heavy fighting in Iraq? Hmmm. Federal agencies need 80 years worth of “practice” ammo? If it were a Republican president creating a civilian national security force would Democrats be dirtying their Maggie Hassan supplied adult diapers so quickly that they couldn’t change them fast enough? You bet. But this is Obama. Any suggestion that he might actually be arming a civilian security force–see also: a personal army–well that would be crazy talk.
But the GAO wants to know. And we can’t wait for the leaks to begin about how the Obama Admin is trying to pressure them to back off.
