Washington, D.C., has long been an island floating on a sea of hypocrisy. There are many castaways on this island, each playing a role in our national economic recklessness. But for some to blame the mess in D.C. on the Tea Party is utterly preposterous.

In recent weeks there has been discussion around the topic of abortion as well as female objectification when recent sexting scandals were brought to light.
It is important to note that I myself am a single, twenty-four year old woman involved in activism in New Hampshire. On a regular basis I am subject to constant criticism because of my pro-life views.
I think I speak on behalf of all women when I say enough is enough. We need to stand up for ourselves and not be degrading to one another. While as females we may hold a variety of different opinions and beliefs there is one thing that binds us all and that is our gender. If we ever hope to be respected by men we must first respect ourselves.
Last week a known blogger here in the Granite State found it necessary to tweet the following, “@ashpratte @demchairs at least they won’t hit you. Or leer at your boobs. Or call you a “vagina”. They aren’t republican men after all.”

New Hampshire Democrat Cindy Rosenwald should have become infamous for her remarks on the Patch in which she admitted that the departing Democrat legislative majority, and party leadership, knew there was an $800 million dollar hole in the New Hampshire budget and that they (Democrats) knew they would have to cut. This was all forgotten in the narrative-writing whirlwind that surrounded the new Republican legislatures follow-up budget in which they went about doing what Cindy had claimed Democrats had planned all along.
Well, she’s got another opportunity for fame and misfortune. Elected house Democrat and Fiance Committee and party leader Cindy Rosenwald has the additional distinction of having allowed someone who is currently a regional field director for Virginia candidate for Governor Terry McAuliffe to register to vote from her home in Nashua last November.
This morning at 11 am, at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, no doubt under the bland and inadequate light of a very limited number of compact fluorescent bulbs, Jeanne Shaheen is participating in a round table discussion about Environment and the New Hampshire Economy: ‘How Climate Change Impacts New Hampshire Business.’
Really? I wonder what possible conclusions might be reached at by a bunch of Global warming advocates and rent seekers lead by the US Senate’s Environmental ATM machine to New Hampshire?
Well, yeah–the Democrat’s approach to “Gun Control” makes no damn sense. And neither does their re-branded term ‘Gun Violence.’ Nothing they say they want to do will actually curtail gun violence and the sign below gives a great example why.

If we called Ben Rous’ home in Virginia and asked his wife where her husband ‘lives,’ do you think she’d say 50 Adams Point Road in Durham New Hampshire?
Ben is the adult son of New Hampshire Democrat Emma Rous (Former Democrat House Rep). Emma lives at 50 Adams Point Road in Durham New Hampshire? Ben ‘lived’ at his mom’s house in 2012 long enough to register to vote there, before going back to Virgina where he happens to be a conductor for the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. That’s one bitch of a commute to have to make just to get to work if you’re actually trying to convince anyone you are still “living” in Durham New Hampshire…just so you can vote here.
Planned parenthood of New Hampshire has been ‘hired’ by Kath(lean-forward) Sebelius to hawk ObamaCare to the unwashed masses.

Planned Parenthood partners in three states – Montana, Iowa and New Hampshire – will receive money under the HHS navigator program.
The Montana-based Intermountain Planned Parenthood will receive $214,000, the Iowa-based Planned Parenthood of the Heartland gets $214,427 and the New Hampshire-based Planned Parenthood of Northern New England will pocket $145,461.
For $145,00o.oo dollars I might be willing to tell people about Obama-Care as well.
OK, I’d tell them to call their legislators and de-fund it, water-board it, end it, cancel it, give it end of life counseling, anything to make it go away or at the very least keep it out of the Granite State. But that would be a bargain if it worked. We’d save trillions for a pittance.
But that’s now it’s going to work. They’re going to funnel more of your money into the crony-network of aiders and abetters.
In search of a second term defining plan, the Obama team is our running a PR campaign on an effort they claim is new and innovative–so much so that it may define Mr. Obama’s second term as President.
They want to spend billions on getting High Speed internet to every classroom in America, a program they are calling ConnectEd. They are even willing to do it without congress if they have to (big suprise there), funding it through an increase in FCC fees on mobile phone users.
But they don’t have to. Congress passed and Bill Clinton signed, back in 1996, a plan that has empowered the FCC since 1997 to spend up 2.5 billion annually to do exactly what the Obama Team is trying to sell as a cutting edge idea today.

Used to be, only the large urban metropolitan areas had a SWAT team. Then, smaller cities got them. Now, many small and medium-sized towns are thinking about it, working to raise the funds to buy gear, equipment, and weapons.
One has to ask: Why and what are they preparing for?
