Everyone is colluding with Russia except Trump

“Everyone is colluding with Russia except Trump,” Steyn said. “You’ve got the Podesta Group, you’ve got the Hillary campaign, you’ve got the DNC, you’ve got the FBI, you’ve got Christopher Steele, who you credit as an ex-MI6 agent. He’s not just any old ex-MI6 agent, he’s the head of the Russia desk at MI6, which … Read more

This time around my guest is Robert Alt, the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Buckeye Institute. He joins me to discuss Worker Voting Rights, an initiative that would grant public sector union members, many of whom have never had the chance, to vote for the union or union leaders that represent them.

There is No Consensus on Climate and There Never Was

Al_Gore_Fire bannerJames Delingpole writes, “When I reported earlier this year on the 58 scientific papers published in 2017 that say global warming is a myth the greenies’ heads exploded. Since then, that figure has risen to 400 scientific papers.”

Those unreported or underreported reports number closer to 900 if we count the 500 published last year. Each and every one takes issue with the consensus theory that man-made forcing via CO2 emissions is causing the planet to warm, and all the thousand shocks that such so-called warming create.

GrokTALK! Evolution

GrokTALK! - Conservative Talk RadioGrokTALK! has always been something of an umbrella of media posts, but for several years it was anchored by a weekly podcast. While we may drag that anchor back into the fold, it won’t be anytime soon, but that’s not the end. The umbrella is going to (hopefully) get bigger with or without that podcast.

We would like to use GrokTALK! as a place to aggregate Conservatarian content (podcast or video interviews or political talk) from New Hampshire and beyond and we’d like your help.

You Can’t Defend Free Speech Without Challenging Social Justice Curriculum

Steve on GAL 8-7-17This morning on ‘No Safe Spaces’ Rich Girard and I began with a recent article from The New Hampshire (TNH), the UNH Student Newspaper. Executive Editor Colleen Irvine does a nice job of pointing out to students on Campus that the first amendment doesn’t just protect speech on one side of the debate. Colleen also does an excellent job reiterating that these protections are limited to peaceful protest. But I think, maybe in a future article or two, she could go further.

TNH needs an open-minded exploration into what is at the root of the intolerance for opposing speech (primarily conservative or Republican) on college campuses.

Consensus Remains Elusive

Consensus Of The Models “Consensus” is a political idea which is just one of many reasons not trust the climate cult. A concept that even as a political one is difficult. So we should not be surprised to see a group of sixty-plus scientists with climate backgrounds asking the EPA to revisit it’s 2009 GHG Endangerment Finding.

We each are convinced that the 2009 GHG Endangerment Finding is fundamentally flawed and that an honest, unbiased reconsideration is in order.”

You can read the whole letter at the link or embedded below, but I think that covers it.

Kurt Schlichter has some fun at Democrat expense over at TownHall.com. Here’s snippet. He then turned it over to 105-year-old Nancy Pelosi, who asked, “Where am I?” After [Chuck] Schumer whispered in her ear, she began: “With the economy booming, the stock market setting records, and America defeating ISIS, things have never been worse. That’s … Read more

“Catastrophic” Sea Level Rise Takes a Holiday

Global interglacial sea level rise has been pretty consistent over the centuries at a few millimeters per year. This trend has been ignored as rent-seekers and political opportunists jokey for the lead role in “Scare taxpayers out of their money part one-million-something; Climate Doom!” And while climate is way down on most people’s lists of priorities the … Read more

NH Committee Approves Waiver Requesting Work Requirement for Expanded Medicaid in NH

Bradley care full size Medic adeNew Hampshire’s Joint Legislative Fiscal Committee is getting a good deal of attention for rubber-stamping a state HHS rule that puts taxpayers on the hook for Sex reassignment surgery. Medicaid is not exactly known for its generous coverage, so I’m not sure who in the sexual reassignment industry is going to line up to that shallow trough, but I guess we’re going to find out whether we like it or not.

On a more positive note, the committee agreed to submit a request for a waiver to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services that would allow New Hampshire to add a work Requirement for those seeking eligibility for expanded Medicaid.

Russia-Clinton-Obama Era Bribery and Collusion Story Still Not News

hillary-clinton-old-hag-3I confess that I often post content over at New Media Militia so I can find it later when I have time to write about it. But if you didn’t see this story over there you may not have seen it at all (until now) because it doesn’t exist in most media.

The Hill.com broke the story Tuesday. The FBI,

“…obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow…”

High ranking Russian officials were involved with the Clintons, and while Obama’s DoJ knew all about in 2010, it was kept under wraps.
