NH House Votes Against Resolution Urging a Pardon of Jerry DeLemus

Delemus HCR11 votesThe New Hampshire house took up HCR 11 today, A Resolution urging a pardon of Gerald “Jerry” DeLemus. Why?

The court tossed out the government’s case because it (basically) hid evidence and lied. Gerry is only sitting in prison because the prosecutor badgered him into a plea deal before that ruling was ever made and he is now stuck there.

HCR11 was nothing more than a resolution stating that the NH House would like the Government to consider a pardon, given the circumstances. The NH House said no. Hell No, and goodnight.

Enough Of This

The victim-fueled whining and squealing is rising to fever pitch.  Campus meltdowns, Pink Hat parades, and now, oblivious, emotionally-charged, attention-hungry teenagers walking out of school to look down at their phones while protesting gun violence. The stench of leftist activism is strong and getting stronger.  Make no mistake – the driving force behind all of … Read more

What Happened to That Democrat Bill to Muzzle Frank Edelblut?

Frank Edelblut
Original Image: WMUR

Democrats throw ($*!t) at the wall until something sticks, and they never seem to have a shortage of the stuff. Case in point. SenateBill 466 was issued the day after NH Ed. Commissioner Frank Edelblut responded to a vapid tweet from Executive Councilor turned congressional Candidate Pajama-Boy Chris Pappas.

The State Democrat Party, who were naturally in on the sting operation, actually said out loud that they didn’t want (Edelblut) transforming the department of education into a political weapon.

That is damn funny, but the goal and the agenda are not, and people need to take note.

Steve Kenda Considers Primary Challenge to Russell Prescott for EC District 3

Steve Kenda District 24 NH State SenateSteve Kenda is taking a serious look at challenging Republican incumbent Russel Prescott for the Executive Council Seat in District Three.

“Several prominent Republicans have approached me and suggested I take a serious look at Prescott’s seat. Most are shocked at his recent voting record and are looking for a credible candidate to give voters an alternative,” Kenda said. “His proposal to increase the tolls hits hard-working folks in New Hampshire right in the wallet. At a time when nationally we are cutting taxes, improving business incentives and creating jobs, Prescott is promoting an indirect tax via a toll road increase and endorsing $4 million rail studies.”

Happy Pi Day – 2018

It’s March 14th, which means it’s 3-14, which means it is 3.14159…Pi Day!

Pi (?) is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Pi is a constant number, meaning that for all circles of any size, Pi will be the same.

The diameter of a circle is the distance from edge to edge, measuring straight through the center. The circumference of a circle is the distance around.

And one of the first Limericks I ever memorized was about Pi.

Fifth Circuit Court Sides With Trump and Texas On Sanctuary Cities

sanctuarycitiesThere are not a lot of things the Federal Government should be doing but border enforcement and National Security are one of them (or is that two of them?).

But progressives are loathe to part with their illegal voter base even when it comes with violence, human trafficking, gangs, murder, and mayhem. And if we are being honest they are okay with all of that too because it facilitates their agenda: chaos and disorder invite heavy-handed rule by the political class, and they are all that and a bag of low salt Fair-Trade Kale Chips.

So this appeals court ruling must really piss them off.

If America Has Another Civil War, Democrats Will Lose That One, Too.

Kurt Schlichter has a very engaging piece up at Townhall.com in which he takes on the question of a second civil war between Democrats and normal Americans. Democrats lost the first one, and Schlichter contends that were there to be another, and he isn’t saying there will, they’d lose the second. He offers two scenarios that could … Read more

The Irony of Liz Warren’s Refusal to Take a DNA Test to Prove her ‘Heritage’

elizabeth-warren-23453Sen. Warren will not be taking any DNA tests to prove she has even one drop of Cherokee blood in her because,

“That’s the story that my brothers and I all learned from our mom and our dad, from our grandparents,” Warren said. “It’s a part of me and nobody’s going to take that part of me away.”

The Democrat can’t stand hearing the truth because it will contradict everything she believes even though she suspects it is all a lie.

How ironic.

NH Only State in Northeast to Rank in Top 10 For Business Climate

Tax Foundation Business Tax Climate map 2018The Tax Foundation has ranked New Hampshire 7th overall nationally in 2018 for business tax climate. This is excellent news particularly when we compared to our northeastern neighbors.

Massachusetts ranks 22nd. Maine Ranks 28th. Rhode Island is 41st, Connecticut 44th, and Vermont 47th. If you want to include New York, they rolled in at 49. And not one of them is doing anything to improve things.

But New Hampshire is.
