This Won’t Advance the Disarmament Agenda, But it Will Save Lives. Or is That Not the Point?

New law, school, shootings, ban guns in schoolsDemocrats are using underage mules to advance their disarmament agenda which will only get more kids killed but then, that’s all any Democrat gun-ban policy does. Get people killed. Or mugged, assaulted, raped, or robbed.

The only “safety” in progressive public safety policy is their safety from regular Americans when those policies fail.

We know they fail. Ninety-Eight percent of mass-shootings occur in gun-free zones, and the left’s answer is to make more of them by passing laws no criminal will ever follow. That’s why you need deterrence. Public knowledge that force can and will be met with force immediately and until the threat is neutralized.

Israel took the defense of their school kids seriously 40-years ago and it worked. So instead of marching children out to regurgitate political rhetoric that will result in more blood and bodies, American policymakers should stop trying to infringe on our constitutional rights and take notes.

Levi Sanders Challenges NH Democrats To Run Left- Can They Keep Up?

Progressive_Flo_CommunistaI’m not picking sides in CD-1 (on the Republican side), but the race is still interesting. When Levi Sanders hinted at and then promptly entered that race a day later as a Democrat I think he did so with the number one seed. He’s the guy to beat. And he’s just like Dad, or maybe worse – which to Democrats means better.

Is that a boon to the Republican nominee; because every Democrat in the CD-1 field will have to crawl over each other to get to the left of Levi, a nearly impossible task, not that they aren’t already trying.

Omnibus in Spiritus Sanctum

Mike Rogers joins me to discuss how Mr. Trump might be able to use the Omnibus as written to build his wall, and whether he can or will just give large sums he has no intention of spending back to the treasury – and whether Congress can do anything about that. Follow this program on Spreaker

New Hampshire Rejects Casinos Again

Casino -- dice
What if you could do your casino gambling online?

Another legislative session, another attempt to pass a casino bill fails. Don’t worry; it will be back again “tomorrow” which is to say next session and every session after that until it passes, which it did not in 2018.

D’Allesandro exhorted his colleagues in the Senate to make 2018 the year that his proposal would finally go through, vowing that he would not be bringing it forth again. But the longtime legislator, who began his public service in the state House in 1974, was thwarted once again as it failed on an 11-10 vote.

Did Congress Just Fund The Wall Without Knowing It?

Matt Handelsmann Govt SpendingMike and I had a discussion last night (listen here) about a potential problem with Omnibus bills that can be summed up like this.

1. Congress allocates money to be spent. The President spends the allocated money.

2. Once Congress allocates money, their job is oversight of the money being spent. They don’t spend the money and have no say HOW it gets spent as long as it’s spent legally. That’s their job to monitor with oversight.

To that point.

President Trump tweeted something very suggestive this morning, indicating that he may use the powers of the executive to work around the $1.3 trillion abomination’s limitations on the border wall:

Democrats Use Violent Imagery To Advance Gun Control Agenda

resist - Kimberly MorinKimberly Morin went to the Red Square Gun-Ban StyleRally in Portsmouth to mingle with the Demorrhoids and bless her little heart. It takes a great deal of patience and determination to wade through a rising sea of left-wing stupidity. I’ll have to ask her if she had to take something to suppress the gag reflex.

The result of her journey is a host of images depicting the will of the left. Most tell a tale of ignorance and stupidity but there’s one she somehow missed.

New Citigroup Policy Prohibits Sales of Firearms to Individuals Under 21 Years of Age

Citigroup has chosen virtue signaling. I wonder how many customers (or retailers) this will cost them? How Government is (still) Destroying U.S. Healthcare and Ripping You Off in the Process

health-care_miniNext Up from CR.com and the Conservative Conscience is an episode that digs further into how the Democrats destroyed the healthcare market with ObamaCare.

I know you think you know how bad it is, but trust me, you probably do not. And it’s worse than what I alluded to in this post which included a previous podcast on Health Care by Daniel Horowitz.

March for Our Lives Protest Protected By Lots of Good Guys With Guns

March for our lives security

I’m sure the irony is lost on the liberals and drone-like water-carriers marching around in support of the Marxist urge to disarm the general populace. But they were protected by lots of guys and girls with guns.

John Bolton: Ready to Clean House as National Security Advisor

john-bolton-cpac-2017On April 9th, John Bolton will take over as Head of National Security. One official warned all the Obama-Era holdovers that, “Everyone who was there during Obama years should start packing their sh!t.”

Music to my ears. But it gets better.

“…the purge reportedly won’t stop with former Obama appointees. A source told Foreign Policy that Bolton intends to “remove almost all the political [appointees] McMaster brought in.”

A 2014 Massachusetts Gun Law Has Had Little Effect

Gun-Ban Style Michael Ramirez at Townhall.com
Gun-Ban Style- Michael Ramirez at Townhall.com

A recent study required as part of a sweeping Massachusetts gun law passed in 2014 shows that more gun laws made absolutely no difference when it came to “gun violence,” see also – people who don’t follow the old law won’t follow the new one.

An impressive, wide-ranging gun reform law, passed in 2014, has not reduced gun violence and gun crime at all in Massachusetts. The annual number of firearm-related crimes, homicides, suicides, and prosecutions appears unaffected so far, according to a new report required by the law itself.

Not to worry, say the experts. It’s too soon. Just give it time.
