Why Democrats hate the TEA Party, why Socialists hate Liberty folks
Evil. It exists in the real world and many of us can recognize it. However, in the ever-increasing political polarization here in America, there certainly is one set of folks that truly believes that evil actually exists. No, for these people it is not that commit heinous crimes. It is not those that advocate killing others for the sake of their religio-political ideology. Instead, of someone says “we should have less government”, they are deemed EVIL. If someone says “we should have less taxes”, they are deemed evil. If someone says “Government should be operating within Constitutional boundaries”, they are deemed evil. Yes, Democrats hate the TEA Party, Constitutionalists, and traditional value (and here in NH, the Free State Project) folks simply because they just want to be left alone instead of having a bossy Government. But it goes beyond hate, we are seen as existentially EVIL – and if you have watched any of the mid-term election ads lately, you can see plainly.

Any Republican agreeing to allow Stephanopoulous moderate their debate is just plain cracked

Remember that – asking Romney about States Rights’ and whether or not they could take away contraceptives? Certainly a “Democrat with a by-line”; that was the opening shot of the “War on Women” and Georgie as the point of the spear of the Democrat Party that night during the 2008 Republican Prez debates. Planned, executed, ambush complete – a meme that the Dems are still using. And as a “journalist”, he executed what the Democrat Party wanted – after all, he was Clinton’s Whiz Kid in the White House and once political, always political.

Just like the hue and cry, the sturm und drang that Republicans in both chambers that promised, over and over, that Obamacare would be repealed just as soon as they controlled the US House and Senate. You surely must remember that back in 2010 and 2012, right? Number one rally cry, number one campaign promise, number one fund raiser line (methinks in hindsight, only the last one was pertinent). Now, what does “Maybe soon to be Senate Majority Leader” McConnell say about that repeal?
On Obamacare, McConnell stated “obviously, he’s [Obama’s] not going to sign a full repeal, but there are pieces of it that are extremely unpopular with the American public that the senate ought to have a chance to vote on, repealing the medical device tax, trying to restore the 40-hour workweek, voting on whether or not we should continue the individual mandate, which people hate, detest and despise.”

Priorities – elections are about Priorities. This one is about Obama’s
Let’s revisit this from my last post, shall we?

Remember what Obama said when you go to the polls on Tuesday: “I am not on the ballot this fall. Michelle’s pretty happy about that. But make no mistake: these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them.”
Elections have consequences and so do the people who are voted into office. Tuesday, we get to decide all over again. Steve Hayes at the Weekly Standard (I love listening to him on the roundtables on FNC’s Special Report – smart, insightful guy) makes it clear this election is all about an Obama activist Govt and how it has not worked. I’ve reformatted and bullet listed his points for emphasis:
- Not only is this election not about nothing, it is being fought over exactly the kinds of things that ought to determine our elections.

- It’s about the rule of law.
- It’s about the security of the citizenry.

Or, that would be Dr. Elliot Lasky. You know, the husband of current (at the time, former) NH State Senator Bette Lasky – the guy that was caught redhanded pulling up Republican campaign signs (Steve had the news here, here, and here)?
Well, he has a counterpart in Delaware – except there, the police are actually following the law and are trying to arrest his butt:
Police in Middletown, Delaware, issued an arrest warrant for the husband of state Sen. Bethany Hall-Long on Wednesday after he was caught on video allegedly stealing campaign signs put up by Republicans. The suspect, identified as Dana Armon Long, has been charged with a Class A misdemeanor for theft under $1,500. He faces up to one year in prison and a fine of up to $2,300.
On Wednesday, Republican campaign volunteers reportedly set up a camera at the location in Middletown where dozens of their political signs kept disappearing. Some of the signs apparently read, “Fix the Economy! Vote Republican.”
“We got you, brother! We got the license plate, your face, and everything,” one of the volunteers says in the video.

$10K for cutting grass? Or is this a case of having too much money to put into the Govt feeding trough? Sure – with all of the land that the Feds own (especially out West – why doesn’t it sell it to the States and to individuals so as to pay down, in part, our humungous debt?) The Department of Interior’s U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is spending $10,000 on the project being conducted in the Guana-Tolomato-Matanzas preserve by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). The money will “cover the cost to monitor grasses, restore two acres as a demonstration and publish a guide on best practices for cultivating the cordgrass, known formally as Spartina alternifora”.

Heard this line last night that speaks to this “I’m a Duck Dynasty values family forced to live in a Molly Cyrus World“; what used to be good and valued is denigrated and replaced. What was good is now bad, what was bad is now celebrated. Holding onto traditional values used to be a virtue – now it enrages others (e.g., like not bowing down to the militant gay movement that is trying to force approval upon all) to cause you to lose your job and be unable to support your family.
In this, the GOP Leadership and Elites are, once again, to prove they wish the GOP to be the Stupid Party as it runs away from the veritable storm now roiling the American culture and merely mouth “Fiscal policies only!” Attitudes and mores form the foundation for politics and the GOP Elite cannot bring themselves to confront the truth that “Social issues determine fiscal policies”. All one has to do is look at the push by Progressives to have single women with children adopt the (really bad) idea that they do not need a husband – Government can support them. And that turns into Welfare – and how is the massive financial transfers (about $1 Trillion / year, all programs, all told) NOT a fiscal issue????

Indeed! And one more thing that Obama will do via Executive Order (via the Federal Sustainable Communities Initiative by the Federal Depts of HUD / EPA / DOT) is take over all local zoning. We’ve been sounding this alarm for years now, as the Feds have been funneling $$$$ into NH via the nine Regional Planning Commissions that are not accountable to ANY one and they have been setting the stage for this. Once we in the grassroots discovered this, those folks (like the good Progressives they are) decided to jump on the bandwagon and have demonized the grassroots as “tin hat extremists” (a la “nobodys coming to take your guns). So this came as no surprise as Obama really doesn’t care who controls the House or the Senate – Congress has already given him enough power to do what he wants in “fundamentally transforming” America – and he knows they don’t have the cojones to stop him (reformatted, emphasis mine):
