Yes, all the dirt about a person gets thrown up during campaigns especially for national ones – each candidate’s live is going to get dissected five ways to Sunday.  And just during this Republican Primary campaign, much has been made about Donald Trump’s “problems”.  And yes, I know personally how it feels when somebody decides to vamoose and you get stiffed.  Yet, it was done legally and while you never want it to happen to you, that is part of the risk of doing business.  And you are lucky if you get cents on the dollar owed.

But what can we do when a President and Political Party decided that stiffing YOU for their insistence on implementing their ideology come hell or high water?  What is your redress?  In this case, nothin’:

DOCTORS, HOSPITALS GETTING STIFFED FOR MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BY OBAMACARE CO-OPS: A dozen of the 24 Obamacare health insurance co-ops established at a cost of $2.5 billion in 2012 have failed (and more are expected to do so). Now, hundreds of doctors, hospitals and other health care providers who served co-op policyholders are being muscled aside by federal bureaucrats claiming the government should be the first creditor in the bankruptcy line.

I’m sorry, but teachers are OUR EMPLOYEES – this Mississippi House rep clearly shows that Government should be in charge, not of your kids, but you as well.  That’s right, you who pay their salaries, should now be able to be called onto the carpet.  This is an attempt to codify what I’ve been saying for years now: teachers believe they have more right to your kids than you do and now by making parents more subservient.  From Watchdog (reformatted, emphasis mine):

If a bill passed by the Mississippi House becomes law, students won’t be the only ones receiving grades from teachers. Under House Bill 4, also known as the Parent Involvement and Accountability Act, teachers would be required to grade parents’ involvement with their children’s education.

I remember people saying that back in 1968, too. Back then, it was the New Left radicals attacking (literally a riot) their “own” Party, the Democrats.  Now, the New Left (organized by MoveOn.org) is going after Trump – who breaks every conceivable Political Correctness out there.  And we are now seeing, outside of college campuses), what happens to those that violate their religious tenets.  There can be no dissent allowed from that Leftist orthodoxy (just look how many times the Left has tried to silence and diminish the ‘Grok simply because we hold different political and moral views.

(and kill the Commies).  Bernie is certainly is someone that doesn’t trust the free market and the freedom it brings (note: his disparaging remark of having the ability to choose from among 23 types of deoderants).  At this point, it should be clear that Progressives / incremental Socialists / Commies NEVER trust the markets – they have the hubris to believe that they know what is best for (in this country) for 320 million people who have their own interests.  But that doesn’t seem to matter; they KNOW they are right and that they can “FIX it”.

When I first started blogging, I discovered Paul Rahe and began to try to read everything I could that he wrote (and then add my pittance to it).  Alas, someone else thought much of him and behind paywalls he went (ah yes, folks like Bernie Sanders would judge this to be a failure of the free market – heh!).  But this writing is not, so go read the whole thing.  That said, this well sums up the attraction that the “little people” may have for him – the Republican Party have failed them (emphasis mine):

Never mind the fact that the Constitution gave Congress the power of the purse and that the shut-down would be the president’s work. And certainly, my Senator Kelly Ayotte is part of that “they cowered” clan – I just don’t understand why she’s running for re-election for if you give up your Constitutional responsibility to legislate, why bother (Obama’s CPP, anyone for just one thing)?

He was quoted on WMUR’s NewsNine on a piece on Medicaid Expansion and the money it will cost:

“It makes no sense to me to have us send our money back to Washington”.

I do wonder what that was bracketed by, as the quote WMUR settled for seems to be both disjointed and unfinished.  I do believe that it was on the line of “hey, we should do this simply to get our money back from Washington takes from our NH taxpayers.”

Methinks that Ryan Williams (to whom I am still not the Second Coming of thereof) ought to tell the lead tongued one he needs to change his patter when speaking about his speech, the perception that the grassroots has of him, and certainly the perception that he is solid rock core Establishment.  On the Sunday talking head shows, he just sounded clueless.  Example: with Chris Wallace interviewing him on Fox News Sunday, Mitt was just plain tone-deaf to both the question and with his answer (emphasis mine):

They just don’t understand that losing the OTHER way is just a huge a possibility as what they fear will happen if Trump is the nominee:

Heck, I’ve been writing about this for years now – and now he seems to be surprised.  This has been slow rolling since the start of the TEA Party movement 8 years ago.  Anyone inside that movement, who thought about what was happening, thinking about what its principles were (e.g., Free Markets, Fiscal Frugality, Government staying within its Constitutional mandated boundaries), sees what is going on as part of that natural progression.  Why?

• Again, if the Republican Party had hewed to its Principles and done its job right, there would never have been a TEA Party movement.
