Remember, every time you hear a politician “asking” for others to contribute more, they are not asking. There is no “voluntary” there.
Asking means that a “No” answer is acceptable. For government and taxes there is no acceptable; only “Fork it over. Pity if something were to happen to your individual liberty”. Yup, if you say no, they say jail.
At the point of a gun or at the point of a pen, theft is theft. After all, it seems only that Bernie is willing to answer the question “how much in taxes in enough” – and he says that Government should be able to take more than 90% of every dollar earned.
Stupid Feds – how will the States, counties, and local towns get theirs? Or is that the point?
