I’ve mentioned on many occasions here that TMEW and I ran a daycare center for a few years; I also have stated that the folks that were almost always the folks that were the most appreciative of the care we gave to and around their most precious ones were those paying “full boat” prices. Yes, there were a few that were on State assistance that also in this category, but mighty few. For the majority, it was expected and sometimes, more was DEMANDED (and sometimes, got mad when we expected them to do something for themselves / kids).
