President Trump released a Twitter video yesterday (78 seconds) in which he formally announces the return of troops from Syria. “We’ve won against ISIS. We’ve beaten them and we’ve beaten them badly.”
This victory completes another campaign promise. To defeat the Islamic State In Syria.
Remember when Obama assured us that Russia had promised that Syria’s chemical weapons were no more? They weren’t. Assad used them on his own people. Collusion! (That’s a Russsssia Joke, get it?)
But Syriaously, folks. Chemical weapons in Syria were this big deal. Chemical Weapons everywhere are a big deal but mostly in places where leaders-for-life and their strong-men like to dispose of them on the locals as a lesson. The Bamster told us about this Red Line thing (don’t you dare use chemical weapons), which Assad repeatedly crossed without consequence.

The Charlatan in Chief blustered and threw down a red line last August to the Assad regime on chemical weapons.
Or so it seemed to his fans at the time.
He went forth to the adoring throngs with their laptops, tech Pad du jours, and cameras clutched and at the ready. Their attention hung on every bleated word as it made its way from the beguiling and Smartest President Evertm into their pixels and ink. Emotionally woozy, the reporters didn’t follow up for clarification; they just transmitted the text before the vapors overwhelmed them. “Ooooh, he’s so brave. He mentioned a red line. Did you hear that? He put down a red line… ‘scuse me I need to head to the restroom.”
Well, what he actually said was (emphasis mine):

Israel has had enough of the rocket attacks and has approved “Vigorous Action” against the Terrorist infrastructures in the Gaza strip. They are calling up reserves, and will initiate a ground force invasion if necessary to stop the attacks on their population. For the time being, air strikes and other surgical attacks will continue against targets in Gaza.
