Romney versus the libertarians? Here’s where I stand.

Well, well, it seems that a last-minute storm has been brewed up by my posting about libertarians who are refusing to vote for Romney tomorrow. You can see it—and the video that prompted the posting—HERE. That caused quite a bit of reaction, both here and on Facebook, which in turn caused Grokster Skip Murphy to jump into the fray ‘with THIS POSTING after the Project’s redoubtable Chis Lawless opined that “The video wasn’t that much a convincer to be honest.” And that caused me to revisit my own reasoning and assumptions that impel me to vote for Romney tomorrow…which causes me to say this:

“Just vote Republican.”

This man has an appointment with destiny....

Regarding the Presidential election…it’s over. There’s little question now that Obama will lose the election. Even with  the news blackout by the mainstream media, the truth is emerging: It is becoming clear that our President left Ambassador Stevens and other Benghazi consulate personnel to die in the Al Qaeda attack on September 11th.

Whether it was a cold calculation by the President, or merely fearful and incompetent dithering, the cover-up is unraveling…disastrously so for Obama and the Democrats.

The only question now is how large Romney’s victory will be, and whether he will have “coattails” to boost other Republicans across the finish line to victory. I here and now predict he will. If I am right, then President Romney will have the White House, and the Republicans will have majorities in both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives.

“Hello There, Voter!”

This is really funny. Michele and I went to a great movie yesterday afternoon with Bruce Willis in it (Looper). When we came out, I found a little…sticker on my van’s driver-side window. You know, one of those little Post-It notes you use in the office? Here it is….

November is coming….

…and you don’t need to tell that to the people in Centreville, Virginia. Obama visited them on Saturday, July 14, 2012. Here’s what he saw….

Conservatives for Obama? No, really….

I mean, I can at least see why maybe some conservatives may decide to vote for Gary Johnson, the national Libertarian Party’s Presidential candidate this year…. But then there’s Marty Begin, a   Nevada voter and “self-described conservative” quoted in today’s Wall Street Journal article about Mitt Romney. And…this guy says he’s going to vote for Obama. A “conservative”? Voting for Obama? I mean, helloooo…

Sustainability Ferris Wheel

This is part-2 of a series that breaks down the “sustainability” movement, and explains how some in NH are working to constrain individual liberties with it.  Read part-1 here.

The consummate community organizer, President Obama, knows the value of urban voters.  He knows that urban living, with its clustered, infrastructure-heavy, and herd-like nature, depends on government more than suburban life, and far more than self-sufficient, independent rural living.  He knows that more urban (or urban-like) voters mean utter dominance of the Progressive political class, at all levels.

He also knows that people have flocked away from cities, especially since the 1970’s, forming concentric suburban rings, referred to as “sprawl” (a word you will hear used quite a bit), which provide resistance to his urban, democratic-socialist ideals.

“The suburbs will define the outcome of the 2012 Presidential election”

Continuing to use the environmental movement as cover, and using the Presidency for credibility and funding, Barack Obama and his fellow community organizers are advancing the simmering ideology of “sustainability” by attacking the suburbs.
