The children’s picture book “Sylvia and Marsha Start a Revolution!” by Joy Michael Ellison, self-proclaimed “queer and non-binary trans writer”, makes heroes of “trans women of color” and promotes the bizarre belief that people can change sex. I found it on the Pride display in the children’s room in the Nashua Library last June.

Public Library Promotes Children’s Book Celebrating Violent Action Against Police
For at least two years, the Nashua Library has displayed the book “What Was Stonewall?” in the children’s room during June. This book is about the history of the treatment of lesbians and gay men in the US, and it is for children ages 8 to 12.
Library Promotes Book That Teaches Kids to “Love Who You Choose”
In June last year, I found the book “Pride Colors” by Robin Stevenson on the Pride display in the Nashua Library children’s room. It’s a board book so it’s made for babies and toddlers. It has bright colors and adorable pictures of children. The book promotes Pride celebrations as wholesome affairs.
Night Cap: Library Promotes Gender Propaganda to Toddlers
In June, one of the books on display for Pride month was a charming-looking board book titled “Being You,” for ages 2 to 5, with a bunch of happy children on the cover. If you look more closely, the subtitle “A First Conversation About Gender” exposes the sinister intentions of the author to promote radical gender ideology to toddlers.
Nashua Library Doubles Down on Promoting Bondage to Kids
I requested that the Nashua Library move the picture book “Grandad’s Pride“, which features an image of half-naked men wearing bondage gear, to the parenting shelf where small kids won’t have access to it without a parent’s permission. My request was denied.
Book Promoted by Nashua Library to Small Kids Features Bondage Gear
This is my testimony to the Nashua Public Library Trustees’ September meeting.
After the June Trustees’ meeting, I went to the children’s room to see what was on display, and I found the book “Grandad’s Pride” featured prominently for Pride month.
The Nashua Library is Not Welcoming to Religious Families
In their Welcoming City Initiative, the City of Nashua claims to be a place “where all people, including immigrant newcomers, are welcomed, accepted, and integrated.”
The Truth Leaks Out: Dolls and Trucks Are for Everyone
I have been attending the Nashua Public Library trustees’ meetings and talking to them about my serious concerns about picture books the library has made available to young children which try to convince them that how well they fit a gender stereotype is what makes them a boy or girl. You can read about two of those books here.
Picture Books at Nashua Library Promote Dangerous Gender Ideology to Young Children
These are my comments to the Nashua Public Library Trustees at their April meeting.
There are many picture books in the children’s room accessible to young children promoting the idea that a boy who likes wearing dresses and long hair and jewelry and plays with dolls can become a girl, like “Sam is My Sister,” and a girl who likes to wear pants and short hair and plays with trucks can become a boy, like “Jack (Not Jackie).”
Found a Children’s Book in The Public Library Titled: “”Not my idea: a book about whiteness””
I was shocked to discover that our local library, the Nashua Public Library, has the book “Not My Idea: A Book about Whiteness” by Anastasia Higginbotham in the children’s room.
Nashua Library Director Says Book That Glorifies Sex Work for “Trans” Kids Is “Essential Volume for Teens”
I discovered a book in the Teen Room at the Nashua Library that promotes “sex work” as a career to trans-identified kids. I was horrified by what I read, and I requested that the library pull it from the shelves.
Nashua Library Book Promotes “Sex Work” for Trans-Identifying Teens
I checked out several books in the Teen Room and Children’s Room at the Nashua Public Library about children who identify as transgender. Among the large stack of books was “You’re in the Wrong Bathroom” by Laura Erickson-Schroth in which the author promotes “sex work” as a viable career for gender-confused kids.
Maybe it is Time to Consider Defunding Public Libraries
The American Library Association is firmly aligned with the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement and their demands that we defund the police. Maybe it is time to consider defunding public libraries.
Nashua Public Library Introduces “Drag Queen Teen Time”
The Nashua Public library is holding a special event for local teens on January 12th. It’s called Drag Queen Teen Time. When a curious resident emailed the Library to learn more, they did, indeed learn more. Cornerstone Action reports the response. The Drag Queen Teen Time that we have planned for January is not a drag … Read more
