Given our electoral political situation where the Left seems to own the young (normally thought to be from the effort in capturing our Education system), it may seem that a Conservative party may be past history. Or is that more like Jeanne Shaheen’s no more snow prediction of years ago – completely false?
Millennials
Notable Quote – Rod Liddle
OK, boomers — wassup? I’ll tell you wassup. This was the decade you got left behind. *** [C]is is short for cisgender and refers to someone whose current gender is the same as the one they were “assigned” at birth. Yes, I know — scientifically that means everyone. It’s all there in the chromosomes. It … Read more
Millennials Flock to NH for Jobs, Affordable Housing, Quality of Life
I can’t even begin to count how many times I’ve heard democrats, or anyone for that matter, use the phrase “we need more young people to move here!” It’s a common trope, especially from democrats who seek to impose more government intervention on the rest of us through programs like workforce training, ‘workforce’ housing, college … Read more
Where did the Liberal “Gun Nuts” Go?
Left Wing Gun Nuts. Where did they go? Where are they hiding? Why are they so silent? Six years ago…Specifically, March 18, 2013 I posted, “The “Gun Nuts” Liberals Pretend Do Not Exist.” In that Grok article I wrote,
The Champagne Socialist like Bloomberg, Feinstein and other sorts on the left fund visceral hoplophobic attacks on America’s second amendment supporters. And within that anti-gun clique lives a band of left-wing, “gun nuts.” liberals who own and advocate for the second amendment. The left embraces them and when these “gun nuts” start talking; the left sticks their fingers in their ears and yells, La-la-la-la-la! Oh, How inconvenient…
If this is REALLY a “thing”, can we just send them back to Mommy & Daddy?
This kind of stuff is really starting to creep me out: scared of ideas, scared of people with differing opinions, scared of history, scared of not having safe spaces supplied with pillows, crayons, and puppies?? And now the NEXT thing that these adults-who-won’t-admit-they-are-children (and very small children at that):
“Doorbells are just so sudden. It’s terrifying,” says Tiffany Zhong, 20, the founder of Zebra Intelligence, which helps companies conduct custom research and gather insights on people born in the past two decades. There’s no published research about doorbell phobia, but it’s a real thing. In a poll by a Twitter user earlier this month that got more than 11,000 votes, 54% of respondents said “doorbells are scary weird.”
Single young women: You can marry young if you want to! NOOO! Don’t do it!

(Well, Skip said I could write about anything that interests me. Sooo…here goes.)
Sheesh. My interest was piqued this morning when I ran across an article by young Julia Shaw in Slate. Published just two days ago, Ms. Shaw’s thesis for women in their 20’s is that “you don’t have to wait till you’re 30 or older to get married. If you find the right guy, it’s okay to get married young…even desirable!” (Hmmm and…uh oh.)
That’s interesting, I thought, not least because I’ve got a millennial-generation daughter myself. But whew! The article—entitled “I got married at 23. What are the rest of you waiting for?”—set off a virtual conflagration! I mean…
“Thanks, kids!” A big thank you to the younger generation for electing Obama….
This is funny! A Baby Boomer speaks to the younger generation, copied at Powerline and noted at Instapundit: “This 50-something, white, conservative Republican wishes to thank America’s youth for…
