Economic Malpractice

We continue the discussion with Greg Moore from Americans for Prosperity on Government meddling with medical care and coverage and the economic malpractice that results–fewer startups, employment stagnation, wage deflation, and other symptoms of this regulatory disease, including those specific to New Hampshire.

Expanding Job Migration to Massachusetts

In part II of our conversation with Emily Sandblade and Susan Olsen we discuss the perverse tax incentives behind expanding Medicaid in NH, like how it will favor residents who work outside the state over those who stay and work in New Hampshire.

Carly Fiorina

Republican candidate Carly Fiorina joins us to discuss cutting government jobs and the spending that goes with them.

GrokTALK! – Meet Gov. Boon Doggle

Maggs Hassan signed the Boondoggle bill this week, establishing a culture of taxpayer backed greed amongst the elected class–and anyone looking for a few bucks to tie a boon to a doggle.

Sequester Will Destroy 170 Million Jobs

I confess that I missed this (until now).The-Sequester-Bee

Democrat Maxine Waters (D- Doh!), relieved that she is not in prison for all the corruption she has engaged in while elected to the US House of representatives, is making up for that by just being herself.

“We don’t need to be having something like sequestration that’s going to cause these jobs losses, over 170 million jobs that could be lost – and so he made it very clear he’s not opposed to cuts but cuts must be done over a long period of time and in a very planned way rather than this blunt cutting that will be done by sequestration.”

As Charles C.W. Cooke points out at NRO’s The Corner, there are only about 134 million jobs in America.

The Obama Recovery Is So Darn Good…

The recovery is so damn good that more people stopped looking for work than found a job in January.  Around 157,000 became employed while 169,000 people left the labor force. Since Obama came to office 8.5 million Americans have left the labor force.  That means that there are 8.5 million fewer jobs in the country … Read more

Notable Quote: NH House Rep John Burt

“Why are we not working on the budget and new jobs for NH.  No the first thing they (NH Democrats) do is gun control for NH, raise the beer tax, vehicle registration fee increase of $30.00 to $50.00 per vehicle in your driveway, gas tax increase of 20%…”

Has Jeanne Shaheen Had A Come To Jesus Moment on Taxes?

Eighteen Democrat US Senators have sent a letter to Harry Reid requesting that the Medical Device tax portion of Obama-Care be delayed. The letter does not say it directly, preferring to dance around the issue, but it is obvious that these 18 Democrats, New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen among them, believe the Medical Device tax … Read more

The Dinner Table

Americans for Prosperity – they’re on our side and Democrats hate them which makes them that much more awesome–has released its most recent Ad, this one in response to the ridiculous jobs report that shows unemployment down when the economy isn’t even producing enough jobs to account for population growth.

Jobs Vs. Food Stamps Obama Economy Throw-Down

One Graph to rule them all?  I think this says something about what six trillion in new Democrat-debt buys you.  Fewer jobs, shrinking work force participation, and more people in need of assistance.   That’s why we call Obama the Food Stamp President.  He can’t fix it from the inside unless by fix you mean make … Read more

Real Unemployment at 19%…

Wynton Hall at Breitbart.com wrote this.  I’m just sharing it. Consider the following 11 economic facts: 1.  When you include the underutilized labor figure with the eight million Americans who have lost hope altogether and stopped looking for a job, real unemployment now stands at just under 19 percent. 2.  If the labor force were … Read more

Obama’s Abortion Jobs Economy

Obama's Abortion Jobs Economy
When You Make A "Mistake"...We've Got You Covered

I think I have finally figured it out.  All this emphasis by Democrats on abortion?  I think we’re in for a tectonic shift in left wing economic policy.  Starting with the upcoming Democrat National Convention, the new savior for a lagging economy with 16 trillion in debt, employment erosion, a flagging GDP, and more government created debt bubbles (not to mention the trillions more in entitlement debt and the likley collapse of Medicare and social security) is…the Abortion Jobs Economy.

That’s right.  Abortion jobs will save America.

Ray Buckley- Another Tall Tale About Budgets, Education, and Bill O’Brien

Ray Buckley with Obama right behind him. Barry is smilingRay Buckley, Chairman of the New Hampshire Democrat Party is quoted as having actually said this. (DiStaso – Granite Status)

“The people of New Hampshire are more concerned with Bill O’Brien’s behavior acting as the House speaker, his state budget that has New Hampshire in the red, and his policies that have caused a loss of jobs and the cost of education skyrocket.

There is not one thing in this statement that is true.  Not one.

Irony – do you see it?

Aw, cry me a river of tears!  I got this from a friend (wink, wink) from the National Director for Socialist Youths division of the Democrat Socialists of America.  Does anyone else see the irony in the plea ( reformatted, emphasis mine) Invest Your Socialist Cash in the Future: Youth Scholarship Fund Running Low If … Read more

The Free State Project says “Thank you, President Obama!”

Why? Because his policies are driving small businesses to New Hampshire. Why? Because Democrat (and RINO Republican) policies harm business and job-creation. It’s a simple as that. As a result, entrepreneurs and business-owners are considering moving to our state because our policies are increasingly free market oriented (and thus actually work). See for yourself in … Read more
