Eighteen Democrat US Senators have sent a letter to Harry Reid requesting that the Medical Device tax portion of Obama-Care be delayed.
The letter does not say it directly, preferring to dance around the issue, but it is obvious that these 18 Democrats, New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen among them, believe the Medical Device tax will affect jobs, growth, and our ability to compete globally.
Now if we could just get Senator Shaheen, or any of them, to admit that this is true about every tax, followed by the natural extension of that thought, down to the root cause of taxation…
…Spending.
Spending leads to taxes. Taxes affect jobs, growth, and our ability to compete globally, everywhere they occur. The only way to remove that anchor from around any neck, is to spend less.
No, I don’t think they have it in them.
