We know what Joe Biden is doing to us on the home front. We see it at the grocery store, the gas pumps, and our utility bills. We see it is on our credit card and home finance rates. We see it when we finance a car or check our 401K balance.

Last month, on September 11, which is as important a day to America as December 7, President Joe Biden released $6 Billion in frozen assets for Iran in exchange for five American hostages held by the evil empire of Iran. Biden bought the freedom of these Americans for $1.2 Billion each and established the market price for hostages in the future.
There is much speculation about Iran providing weapons and material support to Hamas. Or is there? Iran’s Mullahs proudly finance the “resistance” against Israel. They send them weapons. Fund their activity. But not this time? Seriously?
As I said in Wednesday’s Meme Overflow, I’m getting enough on Israel – memes and articles plus my desire to add my own comments and references / breaking news – and stuff that’s related – that I’m pulling them out into a standalone post thread. I figure that not everyone is as interested as I am in the situation concerning Israel and to maintain readership of the memes, it’s time to separate them out.
A preliminary note that Mike Pence may have “walked back” or “clarified” by the time this is posted, but as of the time I am writing this (October 10, 9 AM-ish), he has not. Pence went on CNN on Sunday and essentially blamed Hamas’ attack on Israel on Trump, DeSantis, and Ramaswamy because they have not been sufficiently pro-Zelensky.

There was an attempted coup in Russia. Remember that? The Wagner Group, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, turned on Russia. He took the Russian city of Rostov, the Russian military stronghold nearest Ukraine. The Russians couldn’t take Bakhmut, Ukraine, for months.
There are those who are against sanctions for a variety of reasons. Some say that sanctions cannot be effectively enforced; others claim that sanctions have never worked in the past and won’t work in the future. These nay-sayers never come up with any practical and viable alternative.
In lieu of current Iranian protests in Iran, let us make a note of it: If we remain divided, there will not be a chance against the robust Islamic regime with the vast and destructive power apparatus that has no problem using it against their own population as they did in the 2009 Green Movement.
