Israel: Memes and Commentary

This is an attempt to “break out” memes, links, and my commentary about the situation in Israel / the Middle East so as to not overload the standard meme posts that I do.  My last “normal” meme post.  And my last Israel-related one.  I don’t just have memes in the Israel ones, but lots of informative links as well as hopefully-insightful commentary, so if you didn’t see the last one, please do go look after you’re done with this one.  Same thing here: lots and lots of links, info, videos, memes, and my added commentary (that I hope adds perspective and value).

What Does Iran Have On Joe

We know what Joe Biden is doing to us on the home front. We see it at the grocery store, the gas pumps, and our utility bills. We see it is on our credit card and home finance rates. We see it when we finance a car or check our 401K balance.

Iran Played Biden Like A Stradivarius

Last month, on September 11, which is as important a day to America as December 7, President Joe Biden released $6 Billion in frozen assets for Iran in exchange for five American hostages held by the evil empire of Iran. Biden bought the freedom of these Americans for $1.2 Billion each and established the market price for hostages in the future.

Israel: Memes and Commentary

As I said in Wednesday’s Meme Overflow, I’m getting enough on Israel – memes and articles plus my desire to add my own comments and references / breaking news – and stuff that’s related – that I’m pulling them out into a standalone post thread.   I figure that not everyone is as interested as I am in the situation concerning Israel and to maintain readership of the memes, it’s time to separate them out.

Is Mike Pence A Ukrainian Agent … Or Just An Idiot?

A preliminary note that Mike Pence may have “walked back” or “clarified” by the time this is posted, but as of the time I am writing this (October 10, 9 AM-ish), he has not. Pence went on CNN on Sunday and essentially blamed Hamas’ attack on Israel on Trump, DeSantis, and Ramaswamy because they have not been sufficiently pro-Zelensky.

Inept, Disrespectful, And Naive

On September 11, when the President should have been in New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington, D.C., honoring the victims of 9/11 and the many First Responders who, when the planes crashed, ran into and not away from danger, he was a continent away.

How Much Are You Worth As A Hostage?

Not all of us are valuable commodities on the international market. Still, some are very attractive to rogue nations who now see Americans as bargaining chips for vast sums of money. People of wealth or power must be cautious should they venture near any of these countries like Iran, North Korea, and even Russia, as these countries now view you as an income source, and Joe Biden has just raised the bar on the value of your head.

Were We Wrong About Putin?

There was an attempted coup in Russia. Remember that? The Wagner Group, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, turned on Russia. He took the Russian city of Rostov, the Russian military stronghold nearest Ukraine. The Russians couldn’t take Bakhmut, Ukraine, for months.

Military Action Against Iran Is Counterproductive

There are those who are against sanctions for a variety of reasons. Some say that sanctions cannot be effectively enforced; others claim that sanctions have never worked in the past and won’t work in the future. These nay-sayers never come up with any practical and viable alternative.

A Call to Iranian Expatriates

In lieu of current Iranian protests in Iran, let us make a note of it: If we remain divided, there will not be a chance against the robust Islamic regime with the vast and destructive power apparatus that has no problem using it against their own population as they did in the 2009 Green Movement.

Iranians Are Not Muslim

Iranians are Muslim in name only. Most Iranians consider Islam, an invader. We have a saying in Persian that the way you take your first step points your path for the rest of your journey. To elucidate this, please allow me to elaborate and give a brief account of Islam.

My Forty-Fifth Anniversary in America

December 2022 was my 45th anniversary since I made it to this blessed land, America. A land that I fell in love with.  Like many of my fellow Iranian compatriots, I never imagined extending my stay in the US beyond four years at the university. Let me remind you that Iranians are not beggars. We don’t ask for charity.
