Where Diane Lacy, President of NH SEA / SEIU can’t even get simple facts right – and tips hand on the upcoming NH election cycle.

SEIU
SEIU

On WMUR “Closeup” this morning, replacement host James Pindell interviewed Diane Lacy, President of the NH State Employee Association and NH Rep. Will Infantine (R-Manchester) during his first segment).  Well, during the interview, Ms. Lacy shows that either she has no grasp of real facts or is just what many people believe: that the SEIU is just another name for “Progressive Democrats” in that they just make up facts and say them as truth. And keep repeating them, just like NH Progressive Press Sec. Harrell Kirstein and Uber-Progressive Chair Ray “Buckles” Buckley  And are in the tank for Obama, as the national SEIU spent over $70 million, by their own admission, trying to get Obama elected. Lacy concentrated on three things:

  • Unions = Middle Class
  • Republican supported budget hurts union workers (with an assisted jab question from James Pindell)
  • Speaker Bill O’Brien is a Free Stater
  • In fact, NH is overrun by Free Staters (and she has no clue who or how many)!
  • She is making the wedge appeal to the RINOs for support with “hey, THOSE Republicans are not like you – support us!”
  • But she’ll replace those RINOS with union members who will be running for election.
  • And kinda mumbled something that without automatic union due deductions from union member paychecks, e-commerce in NH is dead.

Like this first statement by Diane Lacy:

“Middle Class is under attack here in NH and the way to get to the Middle Class is by taking away their rights.”

This is getting to be old, but let’s walk through this, shall we?

Freestaters Provide Thanksgiving to Needy Families

The Basket Brigade of New Hampshire:

FREE STATER BRINGS BASKET BRIGADE CHARITY EVENT WITH HER TO NEW HAMPSHIRE

CONCORD, N.H.—When Manchester resident Amanda Bouldin wanted to honor the memory of her father who suddenly died this year, she cooked up the idea to run a Thanksgiving week Basket Brigade drive just like the one her dad ran in Carrollton, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.

“I decided to do this because I wanted to honor my dad, Kent Bouldin, who died unexpectedly in April,” Bouldin said.

“He had organized a Basket Brigade in Dallas for the last decade or so—it was his passion. A couple months ago it occurred to me that all his friends and coworkers would be doing the Basket Brigade without him this year, even though he’s the one that encouraged them to participate in the first place.

I was saddened. Then I got to thinking: ‘I could start my own. Here!’”

At first, Bouldin noted that New Hampshire doesn’t have an outfit participating in the Anthony Robbins Foundation’s International Basket Brigade…

NH Dems Target ‘Free State Project.’

OWS protester craps on police car.

Manchester City Democrats are concerned.  People need to know which candidates in City races have links to the Free State Project, so they’ll "know where they stand on the issues." (From the Tuesday morning edition of the Union Leader)

It sounds like the folks at the Suckley (Sullivan/Buckley) School for Orwellian Linguistics are using peoples lack of knowledge about the liberty movement to frighten them out of voting for anyone they can label as a Free Stater.

Guilt by association.  Prejudice.  Create division. Fear mongering narrative. Typical.

Of course we could never in a million years suggest that the gentleman crapping on a police car at the Occupy Wall Street (Democrat Party Endorsed) protest, is in any way an example of the Democrat Party.  (Looks like he’s trying to pass ObamaCare.) The trash, the arrests.  Then of course there are other recent union protests, violent threats, wishing rape and violence on Republican Women, video games where you get to kill Republican ‘Zombies,’ calling Republicans Racists for liking a conservative candidate who happens to be black–while calling the black man a monkey in a window…Can you find any prominent New Hampshire Democrats who have spoken out against any of the ill heaped on their opponents?  Probably not.  That is because they support it.

New Hamsphire continues to benefit from “the liberty-minded Free State set”

Thank heaven the Free State Project chose New Hampshire, or there would be far fewer people willing to challenge and publicize abuses by various levels of government in the state. This from today’s Union Leader: Manchester got a taste of the liberty-minded Free State set in June when eight people were arrested for protesting outside the … Read more

What Will The Weare NH Police Budget Look Like?

“It is poor civic hygiene to install technologies that could someday facilitate a police state.” -Bruce Schneier, American cryptographer, computer security specialist, and writer. Today, the Union Leader’s Dan O’Brien informs us that, Weare Police face more federal lawsuits. Free-stater Carla Gericke is the most recent filing on the heels of a suit filed … Read more

To find out more about the “Libertopia” film…

…which is about the Free State Project… …go HERE, and sign up on their email list! (I just did.) The Free State Project. Great people who love liberty. A cool idea. And an even cooler reality. Progressives, socialists, and other statists hate us…which is good! (I, for one, wouldn’t have it any other way. Heh!)

Part I: Whither the Free State Project…and Why We Should Care

The Free State Project (FSP) puts on two gatherings per year in New Hampshire. Both are meant to showcase our beautiful state as well as the FSP’s foundations of individual liberty, free enterprise, small government, low taxes, reduced spending, and personal responsibility that underlie the movement. One of them, the "Porcupine Freedom Festival"—popularly known as the "PorcFest"—is held during one of the summer months, while the other, the FSP "Liberty Forum" is held in the winter.

Varrin Swearingen, the President of the FSP, has just announced that the 2011 Liberty Forum which was to be held in February is being cancelled. Why should we care? Read on….

The 2010 Census: New Hampshire and the Free State Project

The numbers on the 2010 Census were released two days ago. The reporting concentrated mostly on the big states like Texas and California, and states that gained or lost U.S. House seats (like Massachusetts, which—wiith their big-government, high-taxing socialist politics—lost two Congressional seats…oh joy!)

But what about the Free State of New Hampshire? What do the numbers reveal about our state?

Well, with a h/t to the Union Leader, let me tell you all about it….

The Free State Project and New Hampshire

I’m a "Freestater&quot. I now count New Hampshire as my home, and bounce back and forth between here and Florida all year long because 5,000 Free State Project participants chose it to be "the Free State" in a 2003 vote. It is the Free State Project migration that is fueling our increasingly freedom-oriented political atmosphere in … Read more
