I came across this yesterday and have played it a few times already. After all, I am SICK and TIRED of the Democrats saying that all of us (Conservatives, Conservatarians, Libertarians – you know, anyone NOT them) are “anti-Democracy.” Well, they’re correct!
I hate “Our Democracy.” Most of you already know why – we were created as a Representative (or Constitutional, if you prefer) Republic. Our Founders, being young but very well-schooled, studied, and wise beyond their years, learned from history that direct democracy (the end goal of the Collectivist Democrats and Progressive/Socialists) always fails via tyranny. Our Founders knew they had to have an accountable and responsive system and avoid mob rule by the Majority (go ahead – poke Grokster Ian on this point, I DARE you!).
But this clip pretty much sums up what the Leftist talking heads, political operatives, and politicians really mean when they start this fear-mongering.
You often hear the Democrats and the left talk about protecting “democracy,” which is rich, seeing as how everything they do is far from democratic. This includes the fact that their current candidate, Kamala Harris, was selected, not elected. The consistently expressed desire to eliminate rights, including free speech, doesn’t exactly give them that “democratic” flare.
When they say “democracy,” most people don’t hear that word, because what they really mean is something else. With the help of AI, what they’re actually saying has finally been revealed.
It is NATURAL for them to hold two definitions in their heads while talking about this – one definition for us rubes and one for “their people,” where “their people” are the “people of Government” – which, if you were to peruse the political affiliation of government workers (shhh – bureaucrats), you’d see the “people IN Government” as well.
Remember, it is the Democrats who are constantly demanding that workers in Government must be protected against all other odds. Those are the experts – and we should not just listen to them but allow us to be quietly led and RULED by them. These hacks in that video are just being “forced” to reveal their fealty to the Administrative State.
That is the existential threat to our Republic.
