Irony Alert: CDC To Restrict Dogs Entering US Because They Might Have Diseases…

America had effectively irradicated a wide range of diseases more common in the second and third world, at least until the age of Barry Obama. He used his phone and pen to flood the United States with “refugees,” the opposition of which was deemed xenophobic or racist. The Caravans came, Barry built cages for children, and Democrats and the media blamed it on Trump.

The Donald, with very little backing, even from his own party, managed to slow the invasion, but we’d already seen an uptick in  Hepatitis A, Typhus, and Measles as STDs were also on the rise. But that wasn’t all.

In an interview with Judicial Watch [Dr. Jane Orient] said that extremely drug resistant strands of tuberculosis are among the infectious diseases the Central American migrants are likely to bring in. Others include mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and chikungunya that are widespread in the region.

Unrestricted and untested, this practice would continue under Biden, including during COVID, as “entrants” were not only let in but brought to the border or flown or bussed into the interior and released into the wild, “wild” meaning a hotel room, EBT card (or equivalent), and help to register to vote in the nearest local election (speculative but growing evidence suggests the latter is true).

Wide open, no stops, criminals, gang members, and men of military age from countries that hate us, alongside the unvaccinated (OMG) masses, but the CDC says it must (and shall) restrict the import of dogs to slow the spread of rabies.

“Preventing infected dogs from entering the United States is a public health priority,” the agency said in May in announcing the rule. “Each dog imported with rabies could infect people and other animals and could cost more than half a million dollars to contain.”

The new rules require owners to show paperwork and satisfy other restrictions.

But preventing infected people with no skills, who don’t speak or write the language, and many of whom are not interested in assimilating, from entering is what?

Racist.

A bipartisan handful of US Senators has stepped forward to push back.

“The unprecedented requirements included in the final rule, such as the six-month minimum age requirement for dogs to enter the United States and the need for a microchip before a rabies vaccination and additional documentation and certification,” they warned, “would create significant barriers to low-risk entry from Canada into the United States and have a disproportionate effect on border communities in our states.”

At least these Senators appear somewhat consistent. Don’t regulate the importation of humans or dogs.
