Concord, NH —In an effort led by American Action Fund and New Hampshire Hazlitt Coalition members Tom Mannion, John Potucek, Matthew Santonastaso, and Michael Granger, the New Hampshire State House of Representatives has passed Defend the Guard legislation on the 2nd day of the 2024 Legislative Session.
Claudine Gay was the Pimple, not the Cancer
The Boston Globe, Michele Wu (Boston’s mayor), Ibram X Kendi, and others cite racism in the forced resignation of Claudine Gay. This is a patent lie. Claudine Gay was put in her position by the Harvard Corporation headed by Penny Pritzker, who was an early financial supporter of Obama for his presidential campaign back in 2008.
Electric Vehicles Are Doomed To Fail
In a story that seems to be becoming increasingly common as time goes on, The Western Journal reported this week about a Canadian EV owner experiencing some massive sticker shock over the cost of replacing the damaged battery in his electric vehicle.
“Resolve” To Help Improve Voter Turnout in Town Elections.
Greetings and happy new year! A suggested New Year’s resolution that doesn’t involve diet and exercise is in the title above, with emphasis on the word “town.” I say that for two reasons. One of them is that local elections are arguably just as important as their state and federal counterparts.
NH Bill Would Ban A.I. Facial Recognition Surveillance
A bill pre-filed in the New Hampshire House would effectively ban government surveillance using facial recognition in the state. The passage of this bill would not only help protect privacy in New Hampshire, but it would also hinder one aspect of the federal surveillance state.
Context is… Nothing.
The current in-vogue spin-room phrase is “context is everything.” That phrase is used to provide an excuse for every unethical action, from teachers who are caught reading pornography to grade-school children, to politicians who vote to support “gender-affirming” surgery without their parent’s permission or knowledge.
The Nashua School District Unlevels (De-Levels) Classroom Learning
Advanced Placement for students in public schools who are more intellectually agile, capable, gifted, or just faster learners is proof of something. Racism? White Privilege (even if the bright kid is Asian or black). Whatever it is, it is unfair, and the government schools are on an equity mission to stop it.
New Hampshire Overwhelmingly Supports Shared Parenting
National Parents Organization and New Hampshire Families recently received the results of independent polling concerning the attitudes of those in New Hampshire about shared parenting. The results show overwhelming support for a legal presumption of equal shared parenting when parents are living apart.
Leprosy, Polio, Malaria, TB, Measles … and Massive Unscreened Illegal Immigration
Successful public health campaigns and medical advances have enabled the United States to conquer a range of disfiguring and damaging diseases. Polio, which paralyzed thousands of Americans annually, was wiped out by widespread vaccinations. In 1999, the nation’s last hospital for lepers closed its doors in Louisiana.
Is Nashua Waiting for Someone to File Another Election Lawsuit?

A Free and Open Internet Is a Threat to the Establishment
Last week, a video clip of Francis Fukuyama went viral. In the clip, the political scientist called freedom of speech and a marketplace of ideas “18th-century notions that really have been belied (or shown to be false) by a lot of what’s happened in recent decades.”
If Donald Trump Is An ‘Insurrectionist’ For Criticizing An Election, What Does That Make Hillary?
The “insurrectionist” clause of the 14th Amendment says, “No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of … Read more
Congress’ ‘Gift’ to America This Christmas
Just before leaving town for Christmas break, the US House gave Americans a last-minute holiday gift: a nearly trillion-dollar military spending bill filled with lots of goodies for the special interests and the military-industrial complex. Unfortunately, the rest of America got nothing but coal in its stockings.

This Christmas, amid the turmoil in the world, we may feel that we’re on the edge of another “fullness of time” moment. How should we best posture ourselves at this critical juncture?
Merry Christmas!

Paula Johnson vs. City of Nashua (The Sequel)
Paula had her day in court this afternoon and I thought a summary of observation would be of interest. Many witnesses were in court this morning in Concord as plaintiffs against Chris Ager, which I’m sure someone else will report on as I wasn’t there.
The Bill of Rights: The Only Good Part of the Constitution
The Bill of Rights turns 232 years old today. Adopted in 1791 as a consolation prize for the Anti-Federalists, it has been perhaps the most important part of American legal history since the eighteenth century and has served as an inconvenient reminder of the laissez-faire libertarian philosophy that permeated American political theory in the late 18th century.
Truth Is the Biggest Threat to Democracy in DC
Early this year, Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guard member, was arrested and charged with transmission of national defense information and other charges.
