Hon. Linda Rea Camarota, RN – We Have Been Robbed of Scientific Debate

Hon. Linda Rae Camarota RN

What is natural immunity? As a child, did you have chickenpox? If you did as I did, there is no fear of another chickenpox viral infection. Granted, SARS-Cov-2 (Severe acute respiratory syndrome) is not a naturally occurring virus so not all established infectious disease practices apply.

Having said that, after almost two years, valid studies support that natural immunity is at least as durable as the M-RNA investigational injection. Unless you have a lot of time to dig into the research, you have not come across these findings due to aggressive censoring of any data that may result in “vaccine hesitancy.”

I believe in science; I believe in scientific debate. We, in the United States and throughout the world, have been robbed of scientific debate resulting in a false narrative.

The false narrative creates a medical model like no other. Early treatment of serious viral infection has been withheld. Sick patients are told to stay home until symptoms are significant and then come to the hospital.

Doctors have been told that if they prescribe certain widely prescribed medications, they risk disciplinary measures or suspension of license to practice medicine. This is not how public health medicine has ever been practiced. Why aren’t our leaders encouraging folks to reduce their risk of serious illness by losing weight, if needed, controlling diabetes, taking vitamins C, D3, and zinc, etc?

The catalyst for me to write today is Kevin Landrigan’s December 26 State House Dome, “Cases, hospitalization counts down, likely to jump after New Year” article.

Kevin shares NH DHHS Commissioner Lori Shibinette’s recent COVID-related actions including meeting with hospital executives and health care ethics experts. The Commissioner’s goal, according to the article, was to, “determine whether the state [government] will be able, for the first time, to identify the extent of unvaccinated patients hospitalized with COVID-19 here.”

Why were “ethics experts” brought in? Where were the legal experts? Is the government crossing ethical lines? Is hospital care or insurance coverage going to be withheld from the unvaccinated?

Commissioner, what about sick people who have natural COVID-19 immunity but are suffering from seasonal influenza? How will hospital executives and health care ethics experts handle this conundrum?

I suspect the Commissioner would reply that there is no need to worry about these concerns. She may add that it is important to defuse misinformation (censorship) in order to raise NH’s vaccination rate thereby protecting the citizenry.

The next hurdle may be defining “fully vaccinated.” Will we need a third or fourth injection to be considered fully vaccinated?

Where do we go from here?

Ethically, it is not acceptable to discriminate or to segregate society. It is unethical to withhold treatment. It is unethical to coerce people to take an investigation injection. It is unethical to deny religious and medical exemptions and then fire our medical heroes.

What exactly does the Commissioner plan to do with the vaccinated v. unvaccinated data? Is the public privy to the meetings’ records? Perhaps our dedicated legislators will pursue this for their constituents.
