Anchor Babies: now a derogatory term? Screw that

Gosh, I really don’t want to skirt the issue, but this use of “derogatory” I just missed; I guess I should be talking to NH GOP Chair Jennifer Horn more often on it.  So when that ABC reporter tried to be a jr. SJW (Social Justice Warrior) when he “confronted” Donald Trump over the latter’s use of anchor babies, well, he got what he deserved:

ABC reporter (in an SJW “lecturing” tone): You said that you have a big heart, and that you’re not mean-spirited. Are you aware that the term ‘anchor baby,’ that’s an offensive term? People find that hurtful,”

Trump: “You mean it’s not politically correct, and yet everybody uses it.  You know what? Give me a different term.”

Yet Doug Scamman believe we should cede “social issues” to the Left even as…

…they fashion their culture wars to be cudgels with which to bang Republicans upside the head politically with them?  This is not a winning strategy from a former NH Speaker of the House (who, by the way, was elected Speaker only with the help of Democrats).  In this video, we see that there is a coordinated strategy to use the culture wars to shape the political war over immigration (emphasis mine, reformatted):

“In a talk given in May 2014 to “social justice” allies in Oakland, activist/artist Favianna Rodriguez explains how tactics from the gay rights movement are being applied in the immigration fight to “normalize” illegal aliens and then are implemented as policy by President Obama.

And this is EXACTLY how the gay movement made their political gains – by gaming the cultural “system”. This is called “shaping the battlespace” – and folks like Scamman believe that the Right should unilaterally disarm.  Or in other, more realistic terms, bend over and…

3D-printed semi-automatic gun: liberal anti-gunners heads exploding

I certainly had heard of the first 3D printed gun – which the State Department applied ITAR type regulations upon the uploaded plans to prevent their downloading.  Oops – 100,000 copies of that had already escaped into the wild.  Now, “next version” of that single shot, going to semi-automatic has come out (yes, new materials … Read more

A reminder: Planned Parenthood hates babies

From March 2013 – a precursor of the recent and horrible videos showing the actual outlook of how Planned Parenthood’s official spokesman at a Congressional hearing couldn’t have the empathy, the heart, the morality, to say unequivocally that a baby actually born as a result of a botched abortion would be saved by their medical … Read more

Even Smart-People-In-Making have no idea on the diff ‘tween Socialists & Democrats

As I posted earlier, the Democrat National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) can’t tell people what the difference is between a Socialist and a Democrat.  I guess, there are none.  Certainly it seems that these Smart-People-In-Making (i.e., college kids) who generally lean liberal can’t tell the difference: So one of two things exist: These kids … Read more

Margaret Thatcher on socialist policies

“they’d rather that the poor were poorer provided that the rich were less rich” “I have the same contempt for his Socialist policies as the people of East Europe who have experienced it” “You do not create wealth and opportunity that way. You do not create a property owning democracy that way.” (H/T: The Last … Read more

So, Obama is ready to throw away this vet’s sacrifice?

What will US Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and US Congresswoman Annie Kuster (D-NH) do?  What WILL they do?  Will they continue to support Obama in this utterly disasterous treaty “executive agreement” on ideological Party lines with rose colored glasses in hopes that a country that has been screaming “Death to America!!” and actually bringing death to … Read more

Trust me, George Will, they aren’t gonna listen to you and they don’t care about “their political elders”

As I have written about before, there is a part of the electorate that has just about had it with the Republican Party.  I watched Gorge Will as he spoke about them on Fox News Sunday after Laura Ingraham talked about the part of the Republican base that is tired of working hard but have no results for putting R butts in Congressional / Senatorial seats – and how will they win without those 10-30% of the base that thinks this. Far be it for me to take on one of the most erudite thinkers on the Right, but on this with his attitude, he’s dead wrong.  Worse, he’s dead wrong and is condescending about it.  Throw in a bit of what I call the Establishment GOP’s belief that they are entitled to Republican votes, and you’re still way short of the mark of how bad Will sounded to these ears:

These are voters the Republicans want, the Republicans want all voters, and particularly these voters, but to say that he’s tapped into something;… {shaking head} … Henry Wallace tapped into something, with the far left of American Politics in the late 40’s; the John Birch society tapped into something, George Wallace tapped into something, and it was up to the grown-ups in the labor movement in the late 1940’s, and the grown-ups in the conservative movement in the 1960’s to read those elements the riot act, and say: come back in, but come back in on our terms because we are not going down the road you want to go”

We saw how well THAT worked out here in NH, didn’t we?  Yes, I am QUITE sure that the NH GOPpers were extremely angry at the outcome

RedState Gathering – Ted Cruz

RedState is a site that is a daily read for me.  OK, I have to admit, multiple times a day and I link to the writers there a lot.  Anyways, this weekend is the 2015 RedState Gathering down in Atlanta and a number of the present Republican Prez Wannabees were invited to speak to that community.  Maybe, maybe, one of these days I may get to go but since one of those days isn’t this year, I’ll settle for video:

A couple of other posts had some info as well:

I love it when Chris “Tingly Leg” Matthews get pwned – and Carly Fiorina does it

Update: Forgot to post up her RedState Gathering speech as well – after the jump.

While Obama did affect the nervous system in Matthew’s leg, Carly takes a figurative baseball bat to his other political love, Hillary Clinton – and there’s nothing he can do about it:

(H/T: Free Beacon)  This is yet another indication – when Republicans actually fight back (and do it effectively), they win.  Carly’s been doing it by banging on Hillary like the #1 drummer in the USC Trojan marching band.  And right after the debate, she continues that roll but this time, Matthews is getting the action end of the stick as there is NOTHING he can say contrary to what she’s saying – all he can do is sputter about “tone” and cannot refute a single lie that Carly enumerates. He’s speechless when she stops – for all of his bluster, he knows he’s been schooled.  Hard.

Screw you, Chris, you political hack with a byline.  You go girl, Carly!  Daily Signal adds (reformatted, emphasis mine):

Serfdom USA

Heh! (H/T: Café Hayek)

And how many of your Rights does the First Amendment enumerate?

And we wonder why Politicians get away with what they do – we do not have an informed electorate.  If we, as voters, do not understand or know what the limitations of what Government should be, then the greed for power that politicians crave will always be unlimited.

Well, here’s the text of the First Amendment – how many did you get?

Clue to the clueless – there IS no difference between Democrats and Socialists

Question of the week was asked by Chris Matthews of MSNBC on his Hardball show “What is the difference between Democrats and Socialists?” – asked of the Democrat National Committee head honcho Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) to the curious event of self declared independent and self-avowed Socialist Bernie Sanders seeking the Presidential nomination of a Party to which he doesn’t even belong.

Funny, that – she has NO answer.  Given that the Democrat Party has rid itself of ITS moderates (the so-called Blue Dog Democrats), it has swung further Left than what GOP has gone right.  In this respect, which is better – the GOP returning to our country’s roots in the Constitution, or the Left moving to the Communist Manifesto?

And on today’s Meet The Press, the question came up when Chuck Todd, host, asked again:
