Check this out:

The image above is of two receipts.  The one on the left is a receipt from a Oasis Cafe in Minnesota.  Never mind the embarrassing comment on our educated society with the machine doing the simple arithmetic for the rube that ordered the burger, note the “*MIN WAGE FEE”.

Now look at the receipt on the right. That’s my receipt from a fill up a few days ago.  Note the tax line, encircled in red, reads “$0.00”.  Now, sure, there is no sales tax in NH.  But I am paying taxes there.  That should not be hidden.

If the state forcefully takes money from the citizen, the state should report what it has taken at the point it occurs, should make it transparent, not just through press inquiry, but right in the face of the people. Explicitly. The state should make it, undeniably, known to all what it has taken with a simple clear label as to why–which just a tenet to the Rule of Law anyway.  Note to conservatives in the State house and Senate.  This is something to fight for!

The Democrat party is the party of labels, stereotypes, and prejudice.  It is the party of division.  It feeds off this division to pursue power based on what it promises it can do with that power to get any given division of society whatever they claim or can convince them to think they deserve.  These rights or entitlements are based on the left’s victim-class caricature of not just how the world has done someone wrong, but how they could can never overcome it without Liberals using the power of the government to get even on their behalf.

Democrat Party labels include women, gays, blacks, illegal immigrants, blue-collar union members, underpaid-teachers, criminals, divisions by class, income, age, entitlement status, gender status, urban, rural, coastal, inland, by who they claim is oppressing you, or as combinations of any or all of the above.  These divisions must compete for attention,  influence, and resources plundered by the state, a system of rewards calculated solely on the value of the ability of any given victim class to keep them in power.

Africa is now a country!

Yeah, such a show of brilliance!  For their underlying philosophy is that Government is FULL of smarter people than the rest of us “little people” who not only need but WANT them to lead us.  And that these folks are totally non-partisan to boot. Snort!  First we get our esteemed gaffe-a-matic Vice President Biden wonderfully making a whole continent smaller.  Get the rewrite of the geography books, globes, and charts ready:

Before I get all political, let me say that I enjoyed the movie, Divergent.  I liked the characters, and took an interest in their circumstances, even though I had a hard time suspending disbelief with regard to the world they live in.

Divergent is set in a classic post-apocalyptic progressive utopian society.  Human natures and people in general suck so  experts created an isolated society (in what is left of Chicago) where people are divided into groups with specific roles for which they are “best suited.”

You grow up in the faction your parents chose to live and work in until you ‘come of age’ you are given a test that is supposed to tell you to which the five factions you are most mentally predisposed.

This will not surprise anyone who spends time inside the sausage factory, but the majority of talk about impeaching President Obama is coming from Democrats.  They are obsessed with using it to fund raise, rile up the base, scare independents away from the GOP, whatever it takes.

But this is a lot like a media flack in a debate asking Mitt Romney his opinion on states banning Birth control?  No states were considering it.  It was a planted question whose purpose was to launch a planned narrative.  The Impeachment thing is no different.

NH Governor Maggie Hassan’s may be leading one of the most unethical administrations in recent history.

Before she was even elected there was a large illegal campaign contribution, happily accepted by Hassan until they were told–reluctantly I am sure–that they had to give most of it back.  She was captured on video agreeing that Democrats could beat Republicans with a bat.   Her first budget that included 80 million dollars in revenue that, at the time, did not exist and would be illegal. She played some other (typical) Democrat budget hijinks as well–to make her turd of a first budget look a bit more shiny.

She got in (and I believe lost) a tussle with CT governor Malloy over CT naming hydro as renewable (which it is but not in New Hampshire) and removing wood fired plants from renewables (which I also have no issue him doing because NH Democrats are tree hugging hypocrites who ignore hydro because it would impact their desire for wind and solar projects, but are happy to burn trees and call it green energy.)

That was just the beginning.  Her problems have accelerated dramatically in the last two months.
